11/1: Friday Faves

An amazing Halloween with the fam. I can’t believe how much our little sushi roll has grown in the past year!

Last year:

Halloween

My heart <3

After work, I met up with a couple of girlfriends for a quick sangria and planning for a huge Soli Beat event, and then came home to get Livi ready for Halloween festivities. We had a delicious dinner at my dad’s house and then went out with my nana, dad, stepmom, cousins and aunt around their neighborhood. Last year, we brought Bell with us, but decided to leave her at home with Caroline this year. They probably loved barking at all the trick-or-treaters.

After a some trick-or-treating (which Livi LOVED– she wanted to eat all the candy as she got it), the Pilot met up with us and we went over to Kyle and Meg’s. My mom, uncle, aunt and cousins met us there, too.

How yoga can change your body. I’m a believer!

Speaking of yoga, I got a few emails about the tank I was wearing in the asana workout pics. My friend Erin (aka the Bad Yogi) designed them and sent me one. She’s part of an amazing new campaign to make high-quality yoga classes accessible for a very low cost, called MyYogaPro. You can check out all the details here!

Some new flats! I’ve been wanting a pair of animal print ones, and found these at that fancy French store (Tarjay) for $16. BOOM.

My new favorite lip color. My friend Jess mentioned these this week, too – I like to think/pretend we’re besties even though we’ve never met. Creepy?- and I recently replenished my stash. The last one I used until the very end! They are vibrant lip stain colors, but instead of drying, they’re smooth and moisturizing. Walgreens had them for buy-one-get-one 50% off, too:
