A very Zen moment:
(I can’t get my leg to stay up in tree pose for the life of me!!! Megan is so pro)
Megan came over after she got off work and I traded her some Indian take out for some vino and dog food (we were out and her work is close to PetsMart).
We had De Fuego, which we first tried at Seasons 52 a while ago and LOVED. Surprisingly, we can find it in Valdosta!!!
We hung out and drank our vino –didn’t do any serious yoga, just goofed around:
Viesa was skeptical:
Wouldn’t it be awesome if vinoyoga really existed?!?! I would be ALL OVER THAT
This morning, I had to do a little improvisation for bfast since I’m out of bananas!
I made some plain oat bran with vanilla brown rice protein and 1/4 Honest Foods Almond square crumbled:
Joe, per usual:
And an incredible edible + 1 egg white:
Lots of hot sauce makes it “part of a complete bfast”
Well I’m off to get my first facial ever (I’m kinda nervous) and a beautiful massage. Then it’s off to work then teaching step!
I’m debating on signing up to do a full marathon in September. If I decide to go for it, anyone want to join me in Virginia Beach???
I’ll see ya after work!
Enjoy your day,
Gina

Gina – Cool poses
Great looking eats. have a great day.
zesty
gina-I live near va beach but I really don’t know if I would be up for a marathon….a blogger get together would be fun too
Is it the Rock N’ Roll Marathon??? If it is,I have heard they are a ton of fun and have bands every mile along the race course! I bet Virginia Beach would be a beautiful place for a marathon!!!
Looks like you girls had fun last night. Great breakfast!
jenna- i’m totally down for a blogger get together
foodsthatfit- yeah it’s the rock n’ roll marathon! i’m seriously considering signing up, it’s just that 26 (.2) miles is sooooooo far!!!!
Haha you’re the best
I love it! I’ve actually heard of yoga-wine events, but the wine is usually consumed after the yoga…. haha. I like your system much better!
Gina, you made me laugh!!!!!!
those poses are NOT advised for wine drinker… hahaha…….
First facial?? wooo….. I’m sure you’ll love it!
Ooh is it the Rock and Roll Marathon? My dad runs that one every year! My mom and sister have been with him and they say it’s actually really fun! They have bands playing at all the stops! Go for it. Virginia Beach is a lot of fun, anyways. It’s worth the trip!
Love it! Totally something I would do with the wine. I think I would fall right over if I tried those poses though!!
Wine + Yoga sounds super fun! After pilates, our instructor often reminds us to drink lots of water….or a little wine.
I am all over vinoyoga!
I had a facial before and loved it! It was a 90 minute session with a hand and foot massage too. Glorious!
Haha you girls are too funny
Hahah vinoyoga- love it! Enjoy the facial- they are SOOOO refreshing! I always want to fall asleep during those kind of treatments!!!
A full marathon – awesome! You are so hardcore and could definitely do the milage.
You and Megan should open a vinoya studio.
HAHAHA LOVE the Vinyoga! That is a type of yoga I think I can get into!
LOL, you girls are so cute! I think I’m going to do some yoga today!
A Virginia Beach marathon would be awesome!!
haha oh my goodness – vinoyoga SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT IDEA!
The yoga+wine combo looks like so much fun! I was actually looking to run a full marathon in September/October but I wasn’t sure where I wanted to run yet.. I’m not too far from VA Beach so it’s a definite possibility! Have a great Thursday!
Great yoga poses Gina, I especially like the vino addition! and the Indian food looks amazing, as usual! I would love to do a marathon.. but I have a lonngg way to go before that.
Enjoy your massage! I’m healous!
vinoyoga looks like fun!
Looks like my kind of yoga!! Love it!
vinoyoga – great idea!
I’ve been thinking about doing the rock’n'roll Half Marathon in VA beach! My parents live in Chesapeake, so it’s only like 30 minutes from their house.
Wow, I totally fell for the “vinoyoga”…when I saw that name, I actually thought it was a new type of yoga I had never heard of! lol wow. But seriously, I’m all for it!
I love those pictures of you and Megan! So cute!1
Have fun at your facial and massage. Your face will feel so smooth when you’re done!
My goal is to run a half marathon in September…. def not ready for a full yet, but you go girl!
too funny
looks like you two had fun anyways!
hahah love the idea of vinoyoga…but have you heard about doga?

VINO-yoga!!!! i love it. you could have just blamed the posing (or lack thereof) on the booze.
Love the idea – cute photos!
I find tree pose so hard too…looking straight ahead is the only thing that kinda saves me from toppling down.
Uhm you may have just come up with the best invention ever! I would totally get into yoga if it involved my fav organic red wine! Heck yeah! I hope you like the facial….I’ve never had one either and freak out when anyone touches my face. I’ve always wanted the whole spa experience, but just get nervous. Fill me in on how you liked it…….
MY FAVORITE POSE IS THAT SECOND YOGA PICTURE ONE.. NOT SURE WHAT IT IS CALLED?
but it’s always been my fav. seeing it makes me want to go back to yoga!
have a fab thursday! it’s almose friday!
olga- i think bella and viesa need some doga in their lives. maybe it will help their sanity to return???
veganissexy- i LOVED my facial. i just got a classic one with a honey almond exfoliating mask and was in heaven. i’m weird about my face, too so i’m thinking you would really like it.
sabrina- it’s my favorite too!! we do it in bikram, but i can’t remember what it’s called….
Wine+Yoga= Awesome
I think you have just invented something that is going to sweep the nation. I’m not kidding. You could really capitalize on this. I’d be in in a heartbeat!
Haha I love the pics
Have a great Thursday!
haha your yoga is so cool.
I love the yoga pictures! Too cute.
I don’t run, but if you’re in VA, I’d love to get together!
I love your wine and yoga night with Megan. I would totally take a wine and yoga class.
I think the Rock and Roll Marathon in September is only a half. I looked it up on the website and couldn’t find the full marathon information if there is one. BUT I would DEFINITELY be down for running the half. I live only 1 hour away from va beach and I would love to do it.
Now THAT is my kind of yoga.
too cute!
have a great day, gina
<3
Now THAT is my type of YOGA!!!!
If I wasn’t already signed up for an October marathon I’d join you – it isn’t too far.
ok – i might get more into yoga if there was wine involved!
and you should DEFINITELY do the marathon – so exciting!
LOL – love Viesa’s skeptical face – it’s crackign me up! Nice job on the vinoyoga – can you make that into a trend?
I’m all in!
Great poses, you look perfect. Adorable with the wine
my friend is running the Virginia Beach half marathon – she’s trying to talk me into it – its labor day weekend, I think….
I could be tempted if a few bloggers end up doing it – but I’d only be doing half – I’m so NOT a marathoner…….
hey Gina! I've run the rock & roll half marathon the past 2 years in VA Beach…it's a lot of fun:) I'd definitely consider doing the marathon, it just seems like so much more than the half haha!
I’ve got half of vinoyoga down
Love you
Oh! I’m 80% sure I’m running the half marathon in Va Beach — I hear it’s lots of fun!!!
I’m running a full in the end of October, so I think I’m sticking to the half in Va. Beach, but whichever you run, you should have a blogger meetup! I’m a kinda new, not totally committed yet blogger, but I’d love to meet up!
