Heyyyyyy
How are ya?? Hope you’re having a wonderful night. I’m happy to say that my klutzy day turned around and the rest of the night was uneventful as far as disasters go. I did notice in yoga that one of the shards from the glass jar I broke had cut my foot, because while we were doing inversions, I looked down to see that the entire side of my right food was coated with dried blood. I don’t think it gets classier than that haha. Dried bloody foot. Lovely.
Before the gym, I had my new favorite bar:
(Review and nutritional info is here, but the bar is high in protein and raw ingredients, organic, vegan, and soy-free. Winner winner, chick-un dinner)
I took a beautiful vinyasa class before teaching spin, which was a blasty because there were three new girls in there. Two out of three lasted the entire glass and did an amazing job
After spin, I hastily munched these bada-bing cherries while driving to the other gym to train my client:
They were SO good! I almost never buy cherries for some weird reason (like the fact that they’re like $30 a lb at Wizzle), but will definitely be feasting on them this week since the pilot loves them and we got a 3 lb tub from Sam’s Club for $6.
The training sesh was a lot of fun and my client cracked me up. After some hardcore ab exercises, she said, "”I got a hysterectomy for a reason- I didn’t want more kids. You’re making me feel like I’m going through labor all over again”
Dinner was a la box:
While I did like this dish a lot, it kind of agitated me that the serving size was one enchilada but the dish is two enchiladas packaged together instead of separately. So of course I had to eat both of them
Atop a mountain of greens, bell pepper, salsa and onion:
Thank you, Amy’s for saving the day when I get home super late and want something fast, vegetarian and healthy.
Well I’m gonna get ready so I can wake up bright and early. The plan for tomorrow: walking the puppies, bfast and blog, prepping stuff for girl’s night and making as much as I can in advance (cookie dough, calzone dough, all the appetizers, chopping), then teaching spin and Zumba.
Have a faaaaaabulous night, bloggies
xoxo,
G$
Summer Shape Up girls: The spreadsheet is updated to include this week!! Please track your daily points so I can give proper shout outs
Today’s tip: When you’re super busy, make healthy eating as convenient as possible. While I’ve been busy the past few weeks w/ the 3 jobs, even though I don’t get to always eat the meals I want to because of time constraint –like tonight, I would have preferred to make my own Mexi-feast but then I wouldn’t have eaten until 10:30pm- I still make sure that my foods include a balance of healthy fats, smart carbs and proteins, instead of reaching for starches and higher-sugar (even if it’s natural sugar) foods for energy. Unbalanced meals cause energy drops, can lead to cravings for sweets, and will not satisfy for a long period of time. By combining complex carbs, lean proteins and healthy fats, this will prevent energy drops (which you can’t afford when you’re go go go all day) by keeping your blood glucose levels stabilized and your metabolism at peak performance. Also, don’t forget veggies! Prep some snacks and meals the night before a busy day so that you can grab and go.

Your many jobs sound busy but also a lot of fun! You must be in awesome shape!
Hope your foot is ok!
The Amy's enchiladas look super yummy and looks fantastic on top of the salad. A great way to eat frozen foods is on top of fresh greens–makes me feel better
.
lovely day! THANK YOU times a mil for not posting your bloody foot
I mean I love bloggies but when they post some nasty cut or injury….really??
I love love love Amy's, but I hate that they package their enchiladas that way! I don't know anyone who can just eat one.
Amy's products look so good. And so does that bar

3lbs of cherries for 6$??? The other day I bought 1/4 pound of cherries and when I got to the cashier they turned out to cost 10$!!!
mmm I have yet to allow myself to buy cherries this season. You got a steal!
That's so weird with the Amy's servings. I've never seen a frozen meal include 2 servings instead of one! It would annoy me too.
mmm mmm mmm cherries! I never buy them because they're so pricey too! I will have to head to costco – sounds like a great deal! Hope that you have a good wednesday
I love that cherries taste amazing right now
such a great snack during these warm days!
Cherries are such a delicious summer treat! And I agree, Amy's is incredible.
I need some organic cherries ASAP!
