Hey everyone! Back to the grind, eh?? Hope your Monday is treating ya well so far 
I felt a little off yesterday after Saturday night’s shenanigans but I was so happy to make dinner with the pilot. We’ve started a habit of grilling on Sunday nights and it feels like such a great way to start the week 
We had sweet potato fries (seasoned with EVOO, sea salt, pepper, paprika and chili powder), veggie packs and baby bella mushrooms (with balsamic, sea salt, pepper and rosemary)
And the pilot plopped his organic grass-fed beef burgers in the middle. I almost cried happy tears when I saw that our Publix started carrying Greenwise meat because until now, I’ve had to get his carnivorous purchases out-of-town and freeze them. This makes life soooo much easier. He seasoned the burgers with jalapeno slices, worsteshechireshire sauce (does anyone else have difficulties with that word? I usually call it “worst” sauce), sea salt, pepper and stuffed them with pepper jack cheese.
He’s extra sweet about keeping his meat away from my veggies (TWSS?? Ahhhahaha). He uses separate spatulas everything! Whatta guy

After dinner, we went to get a tour of a kennel here that Viesa is going to stay at while the pilot and I drive to Oklahoma City. My aunt is going to watch Bella, but since Viesa wants to eat my aunt’s yorkie, we’re finding another place for her to stay since Megan (who is our Viesa-sitter) will be at school with me!! Lots of planning, but it’s all working out so far.

I just want to say thank you again for sticking with my bloggy post plastic surgery. It was a little weird getting everything switched over, and the Google reader disappearance, but now the bloggy’s in recovery mode. Special thanks to all of you who helped me get the word out about the re-subscribe issue <3 I hope you know how much I adore each and every one of you and thank you for making this such a FUN place to talk about food, fitness, mumbo jumbo and everything else. I started the blog on a whim -and because the pilot told me to “get a hobby”- and you guys have turned it into something so enjoyable and rewarding. Ok, mush part over.
Now, who wants some macaroons??

I love both dearly –chances are that if something falls into the “dessert” category, I’m a fan- but I’m definitely a cake person. My favorite homemade cake is flourless chocolate but a la box, I love FUNFETTI!!
******I’ll use a random number generator tonight at 9 EST to pick the macaroon winner, who can choose from blonde, chocolate, or almond butter-stuffed macaroons.

As for a box, the chocolate sour cream pound cake from Williams Sonoma is un-freaking-believable.
Our family has an OLD recipe for homemade chocolate cake with a rich chocolate buttercream frosting…mmmm…so moist!!
Ice cream…favorite flavor is cookien n creme. To be honest, I’ve never had an ice cream flavor I didn’t like!
i stay away from dairy these days, but when i ate it my favorite was cake batter ice cream from cold stone- perfect combo of cake AND ice cream!! now i like coconut milk ice cream and i’m waiting for a cake batter flavor to come out.
I’m definietely an ice cream girl, and my fav is probably cherry, yummers.
You can never go wrong with ice cream. Cakes, when not moist, can be a total bummer. ^^

Definitely ice cream!!! I usually go for oatmeal cookie yogurts, but recently Gina’s (Choosing Raw blog) banana softserve has really hit the spot!

my FAVORITE icecream flavor is homemade avocado and pineapple!!! fun color, and delicious, ESPECIALLY when made at home in your own icecream maker!!!

My favorite is straight-up vanilla sprinkled with cinammon, or sometimes with a little nut butter.
But near where I live there is a fat-free fro-yo place with cheesecake flavored fro-yo that is only 25 cals per oz. – YUM!

I’m definitely a raw ice-cream gal. Raspberry sorbet or any kind of raw ice-cream with chunks of nuts and chocolate…ohhhh heaven baby!!

While I love both, if I had to pick one I’d choose cake! My favorite flavor is anything mushy — chocolate mousse, anything with mushy frosting inside, etc. I love mush cake!

I’m a frozen yogurt girl. I can’t have butter or cream so that takes away most cakes and ice cream. So, I go for the alternativen – tart frozen yogurt. Yum!
Gosh, If I MUST choose… Cake… But I LOVE different kinds.. Never had a cake I didn’t like. Cheesecake, orange cream cake, strawberry cake, chocolate cake, etc..

Oh man. I love cake AND ice cream. But if forced to choose, I would go with cake. My fav is yellow cake with homemade chocolate fudge frosting. I also love any kind of cake with Funfetti frosting. Not the kind with sprinkles, but the old kind with weird candy pieces mixed in it. Mmm, its like crack.
what i love about cake is really only the icing! so i def prefer ice cream…cookie dough. mmmm! perfect summertime treat.
If my only choices were cake and ice cream I’d want them together and all melty and stirred together. Chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. Yum. My mother says it’s impolite to mix it together like that in public, but at home it’s smushed together all the way.

I’m a cake person. A rich and moist carrot cake is my favorite!
I honestly woke up this morning thinking it was my birthday (it’s actually in January!) and dreaming of the cake I was going to make today for it….I think that answers the question!! My fav would be carrot cake (or any spice cake) with cream cheese frosting. Yum!

Holy yum post! I love anything chocolate. If I could have my cake and eat it too (no pun intended) I would have Chocolate caked covered with chocolate icing & sprinkles w/ a scoop of ice cream (vanilla). To choose just one? Like you, I would choose the chocolate flourless cake, it is the only cake I love without ice cream. And I would take cake over ice cream any day!
Ice cream, hands down! Fave flava flav is this strawberry fro yo from a place called Sweet Frogs, you would swear it had 2 tons of fresh strawberries in it bc it tastes soooooo good!!!
Definitely a cake person! I have an amazing recipe for a chocolate fudge cake that I almost never make, but when I do – it’s oh so worth it!
Chocolate cake with either vanilla or chocolate ice cream is my FAVORITE! And mushing it all together is a must! And the ice cream has to be all melty…oooooooh, I need to have some soon!

Definitely ICE CREAM!!! My fave flavor would have to coffee or homemade peach ice cream.
However…I adore Funfetti! It is just about the only “store made” cake I will eat! I’ve I’lways joked that I’m going to have a layer of my wedding cake be funfetti!
