Hi Gina,
I’ve so appreciated your fresh, positive outlook on life and wanted to ask your advice on breathing some of that into my own life.
I’ve worked our regularly since 15 years of age (I’m currently 31) but 10 days ago I partially tore my hamstring away from my pelvis (ischial tuberosity). I am on complete rest from anything even mildly athletic. THIS IS KILLING ME!!!
Would you have any advice for upper-body workouts that could get my heart rate up and at the same time not endanger my hammies? I’m thinking low weight on a lat machine, multiple reps? Those type of things? Any advice you can offer would be SOOOO appreciated!

so sorry to hear about your injury
i’d recommend using lighter weights (higher reps) with all of your arm exercises. also, have you heard of cranking??? it’s like spin class, but you pedal with your arms instead of feet. you can buy one of those portable exercise pedals (that people put under their desks.. about $30) and put it on top of a desk or table and pedal with your arms.
