Hi Gina

Thanks for the chia pudding yesterday!

Just curious, do you not have grains with your dinner in the evening for a specific reason? I noticed you usually don't have brown rice, even at your habachi restaurant, but I thought brown rice was a healthy choice. Is it because you often have oats during the day and try to limit your carb intake? Thanks for answering... I eat loads of brown rice, and maybe I should cool it. :)

WOOT for a-10's! Several of my friends are in the air force and they dragged me to see the a-10's when they still had them at the base I live closest to in Michigan. Really cool to see them up close as opposed to tiny specks in the air :)

I started preparing cleaner meals for my family; one for myself & my husband and another for my children. I still find myself picking at their pasta or rice though... how do you resist? I have quite a few pounds to lose & I used to be so disciplined, not so much anymore. I get so much food inspiration from your blog & I look forward to every post! Thanks for doing your thing, girl!

That's so weird - I've never liked white wine, but I've been hooked since last summer! I still prefer red, but something about white is so yummy & refreshing. Mmmm. Wine.

My boyfriend & I eat the same thing for dinner (since he's vegan like me! :)), but we have very different lunches. I pack his lunch everyday (I know; I'm a great girlfriend ;-)), and he usually gets PB&J or Tofurky sandwiches, chips, fruit, soup, salad, cookies, etc. I get to go home for lunch & I eat much lighter! I guess he also eats MORE than I do for dinner since he has the metabolism of a hummingbird, but it's the same meal. I don't know how you ladies with two meals to prepare do it! I guess slightly tweaking the same dish isn't too difficult, but I have friends who have to make entirely separate meals for their families than what they eat themselves!
