so cute…i’m just now at the point where i feel TRULY pregnant…he’s moving all the time (and i can actually feel him even with the anterior placenta!), my belly gets in the way of all my food photos, and i’m always trying to figure out how to make the most of my pregnancy clothes. i can’t wait til your baby girl arrives!

    • Fitnessista on December 26, 2011 at 5:25 pm

As a CNM student/doula–no more reclining on your back (like in that photo)!!! If you are going to lie on the couch, your side is your best bet for getting baby to roll forward. Babies love to hang out posterior when you lie on your back.

    • Fitnessista on December 26, 2011 at 5:25 pm

haha i just did that for the picture- i’ve been leaning forward or laying on my side since friday. and i hate it.

Not sure how you still fit into your lulu pants for so long. Mine are too snug around my lower belly even when worn super low. Any day now!

    • Fitnessista on December 26, 2011 at 5:28 pm

they’re magically super tight now. and i refuse to buy new pants to wear for 10 days, haha, so i’ll be wearing lot shirts and sweaters to cover my bum

I hope for your sake it is only 10 days 🙂 I was 10 days over and it took 2 inductions with my first. Not what you want to hear, right? I hope your baby turns for you!!!!!!

Hey gina! Maybe you or the cnm could offer your opinions on measuring fundal height. I am 32 weeks measuring 30 cm. I see various docs so im interested to see what others have to say on the topic 🙂

  23. Karen on December 27, 2011 at 2:05 am

I cannot recommend this article enough. It’s written by a midwife who is in her medical residency. It’s beautifully written, she calls herself a “rational radical”(!) and recants two recent births she assisted in- her DIL’s birth and a birth at the hospital while she was on duty.

**NOT a horror story at all**

  24. Karen on December 27, 2011 at 2:05 am

I meant to clarify that her DIL’s birth was a home birth.

  25. Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin on December 27, 2011 at 7:02 am

So excited for you Gina! It could be any day now… 😀
