What I wore: 7/2

Last night we went to a family BBQ, after I crawled out of bed from a post-work nap :) I actually had to get ready in 10 minutes since everyone was there and we were late (per usual), so I can always count on a dress to save the day when I’m short on time and still want to look decent.

Dress: Target!!! It’s already falling apart, but for $19.99, these things happen sometimes. I actually bought it to wear as a swimsuit coverup, but it totally works as a dress too :)

Camisole: Express (I LOVE Express’ tanks and camisoles. The built-in shelf bra is awesome and they’re pretty good quality)

Sandals: Banana Republic

Accessories: Cuff bracelet (Express) and mini diamond cross necklace (Steel’s jewelry in Valdosta)

You look lovely! I love the way that the white sandals make the white in the dress that much brighter.

Running late? Story of my life and it got about 10x more frequent after having a child…haha! :)

So cute! I did the exact same thing yesterday – I got home from work and had 15 minutes to get ready for my friend’s BBQ, so I just threw on a dress. I love how effortless they are!

I love that dress/coverup…it’s really cute! :-) I bought some gorgeous wedges today and thought of your fashion recommendation that they were a summer staple! <3 xyx

I thought of you this morning when I was trying to figure out what to wear with my maxi dress. I ended up choosing bracelets! I think it’s the first time in over a year that I wear jewelry, I just never think about it in the process of getting dress for the day… You have a good influence on me! :)

A little question on the side : I saw your post a few weeks back about Las Vegas and I was wondering if you had any other places to recommend for lunch and dinner that would please a vegan and a meet lover? I’m planning a trip there with my dad in September and we have totally different taste in food…
