NEW Core on Fire Workout {video}

Morning! How’s your day going so far? Exciting news: Winter Shape Up officially starts this Monday! If you’re joining in the fun, the intro post with your meal plan, grocery list and workout calendar will be up tomorrow so you can set yourself up for success this weekend.

I’m so excited!!

This morning, I have an all-new core workout that Sasha and I did a few weeks ago. I can’t believe she’s moving in a couple of weeks :( Going to miss my favorite dancing buddy.

For a full 30-minute workout, warm up with this dance cardio combo, complete the above core workout, and follow it with this strength and Tabata circuit.

  2. I can’t wait for the Winter Shape Up!! I did the summer one, loved it and saw great results. I’m getting married in 9 weeks so it’s great timing too. I’ve just been out to buy some new bright coloured workout tanks so that I’m all set for Monday! Can’t wait!!

  8. This looks like a good workout! I had a baby…er 17 months ago?! and my abs still aren’t back to normal!!! What did you do to get your core back into shape? I’ve been working out and going to barre regularly and that’s the one part of my body that seems to be taking FOREVER!

  21. Yaay I’m so excited for WSU! I won’t be following the exact scheme, because I’m also training with a personal trainer once-twice a week (such a bless… plus he’s hot too ;)), but I’ll definately use your schemes as a guideline for the rest of the week! And I’m curious about the dietician :)

  29. Can’t wait for winter shape up. I’m getting married in September and am hoping this will be a great jump start for getting into a wedding shape up routine. I personally have been loving pure barre workouts lately hopefully there are a few similar style workouts in the winter shape up!

  32. I’m so glad you are posting the grocery list and meal plan on Friday instead of Sunday! I’m someone who shops on Friday or Saturday so when it goes up on a Sunday I’m bummed that i missed the inspiration. :)

  38. Ive always been intimidated by your videos but Ive been kickboxing and strength training for about 4 months or so now and can’t wait to try this! But not today, because today was legs day and I cannot move..

    Someday I look forward to trying your shape up challenges. I’m not at a good fitness level yet to feel safe trying them. I wonder if you could develop a fitness routine for those of us who are obese but trying to get there?

      i definitely want to create a plan just for beginners. maybe i can have it up and ready to go this summer! for this shape up, i’d recommend focusing on healthy eating and building a cardio base (working up to 30 minutes steady state).
