Hi friends! How’s the weekend going? It’s rainy and beautiful here; a perfect cozy Sunday! We’re off to brunch with friends but I thought I’d stop by and say hi, and post the tentative meal and fitness plan for the week if you’re planning and prepping today, too.

I’ll have to try those pancakes. I have been meaning to try some of the ones I see that are only a few ingredients but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I am teaching some HIIT classes (and taking them), then maybe some running since I need to start adding in more for my half marathon coming up in a few months. Have a great brunch!

I made the buffalo chicken bites you posted eons ago. They are so delicious! I substituted panko for brown rice cereal and it was a winner. I also recently made this recipe from Smitten Kitchen: http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2014/01/warm-lentil-and-potato-salad/. Winner x 1000

Hi Gina! A light week of workouts for me, because I leave mid-week to head to Florida for a fun bachelorette party. But I will have time to teach two BODYATTACK classes before I go! Happy Sunday! 🙂

Maybe I’m crazy, but I really enjoy “meal prep Sundays,” I crank some good music and get busy in the kitchen. Being able to grab our lunch and go each morning saves us so much time and stress. On the lunch menu this week is homemade pasta e fagiouli soup and salad. I also made some “egg muffins” for breakfast. 🙂

    • Fitnessista on March 1, 2015 at 4:28 pm

i’m the same way! i love blasting music and getting everything prepped 🙂
that soup and salad sounds awesome!

Your grilled chicken always makes me drool!! I guess I’m like Bella–:) What do you normally do for your easy cardio day? This week I want to try and make it so some core fusion cardio classes at Exhale–I really miss them! Haven’t been in a while. I also have some chicken in the fridge I need to use up–so probably just doing my usual grilled chicken with smoked paprika and curry powder.

Made chicken lentil soup for the week. I forgot about it, then noticed it was getting a lot of traffic from pinterest. I have no idea why, the picture was terrible. It gave me a good excuse to make it and re-shoot. I also made easy egg veggie muffins and banana super food bread muffins.

    • Fitnessista on March 1, 2015 at 9:43 pm

that’s a great idea. i get traffic to posts with horrible photos hahah. thanks for the blog tip 🙂 xoxo
