7-minute barre squat burner

“Let’s squat,” she said.

“It will be fun!” she said.

Barre squat burner

See the look on my face above. It’s the burn face haha.

Oh friends, do I have a workout for you. This is a barre squat burner, and is 7 minutes of pure, burning, fiery quad glory. You will definitely feel this in your inner and outer thighs, which can be a little tricky to target. For this workout, we’ll do some variations of my favorite barre squats, with lots of pulsing and tempo changes to keep things exciting. This is your workout challenge for the day! Let me know how it goes in the comments. 🙂

As always, check with a doc before making any fitness changes. Honor your body and modify as needed.

outfit c/o Fabletics. I’m obsessed with the back of the shirt and the fun print of the leggings!

Time to drop it like a squat 🙂 What’s your favorite squat variation?

Love the outfit. Do you find Fabletics quality to hold up? I’m an Athleta snob (especially their revelation tights for compression). No sure how Fabletics measures up.

    • Fitnessista on March 19, 2015 at 4:29 pm

i was very surprised by the quality, especially for the price. i like fabletics for lifting weights and barre. for running or crazy cardio classes, i wear my lulu shorts or compression tights

The burner is just what I need! Is there a list of moves for it? I can never watch any of the videos in my gym because the signal is so bad and there’s no wifi 🙁

Hi Gina! I love love your blog and check it everyday. I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant. Could you recommend some 2nd and 3rd trimester prenatal workouts? I feel like I’m a moderately physical person, but I want to keep working out for delivery and post partum recovery’s sake.
    Thanks!
    Zoe
