Hi Gina! Love your blog…I’ve been a reader for a long while now! I remember a good while back you did a series of posts abut nutritional trends…ie weight weathers, south beach, Atkins, etc…and I have been wondering if you’ve heard of Advocare products and what is your take on them? Thanks!!!

    Gina,

    Have you seen this? http://www.occupymonsanto360.org/2013/04/12/the-grocery-store-blacklist-12-food-companies-to-avoid-and-95-sneaky-aliases/

How do you know what and what not to buy at the grocery store when even the “organic” foods are made with GMO’s from Monsanto?

    • Fitnessista on April 15, 2013 at 10:36 am

i found about about that when prop 37 was defeated, and totally changed our grocery habits based on that list. it made me sad to stop supporting companies with delicious products, but i’m a firm believer that we need to know what’s in our food. for now, i try to emphasize buying products on the list of companies that supported prop 37

Oh wow – can I try a scoop of each of those gelatos? That fruit tart looked amazing too – it yells “summer” to me. Is Dina on the note a misspell? I remember sometimes you’d have people spell your name wrong on your juices, which I always thought was funny. 🙂
