Also, at first glance I thought the title of this post was “Some pics from Italy” before even seeing the rest of the photos! Funny.

Lol did you dress Tom? Because he looks like he’s really Italian! Hope you’re having a great time! Did you make it to Venice too?? Venice is one of my favorite cities.

    • Fitnessista on September 9, 2013 at 5:22 pm

haha no! he’s a very snappy dresser when he’s not in the green pajamas 🙂

      • Fitnessista on September 9, 2013 at 5:22 pm

and no venice this time. i’d love to see it eventually!

    • Eleonora on September 10, 2013 at 1:23 pm

Sorry to disagree, but Italian men do not wear flip flops unless they are at the seaside or at the pool!

I was recently in Rome so your pictures look familar? Where is the coastal village image taken? I went to Vico Equense and Sorrento area.

    • Fitnessista on September 9, 2013 at 5:21 pm

it was in positano, which is very close to sorrento!

hey gina! I see you are in ITALY 😀 just an fyi, I WENT THERE this august/july! and i dont know exactly where you are staying, but there was this rediculously amazing pizza place!

Its by the Pantheon, and was featured on Anthony Bourdaine’s the Layover!, its called “Pizzarium” they are all vegetarian & have options with no cheese. its pay by weight per the size of slice you want, and have soooo many options! I posted it on the zucchini pizza post you had.

Growing up in southern Germany, Italy was close by, so we traveled there quite often, with Garda Lake only four hours from where I lived. I’m so glad you enjoyed your vacation. Rome is one of my favorite cities that I have visited. The fact that so many buildings are 2000 years old (and older!) just amazes me. Too bad our budget won’t allow for a trip back to Europe any time soon. 🙁 Aaaand, I’m slightly jealous of the amazing Italian pizza you probably had! 🙂

  17. Kimberly on September 9, 2013 at 7:21 pm

Beautiful pictures! I’d love to go back to Italy and explore some of the coastal towns, they look amazing!

  18. Katie O on September 10, 2013 at 1:00 am

You guys made it to ITALY!!!! so jealous! Have a ball!

  19. Theresa on September 16, 2013 at 5:53 pm

I am obsessed with Italy, there is no other place in the world I’d rather travel. I’ve been there twice, for a summer studying abroad, and another trip for 3 weeks. I hope to go back for an extended stay sometime. I am so in love with everything about their culture! I’m so happy you had a wonderful week! I had so much fun reading your recaps and looking at pictures! You’re right, the food deserves it’s own post! YUM!
