Hi friends! Thanks for the awesome feedback on the Schweaty September workout! Hope you love it
Also, would you guys like it if I started publishing my playlists on iTunes? Let me know what you think.
So, how was your Pumpkin Spice Latte day? I may have to treat myself to a short soy one before Zumba
<— I will throw a party the day Starbucks starts serving almond milk
I may have to get an iced latte since it’s still shorts and tank weather over here…
[It was *only* 100* today]
It was also a roon kinda day.
I had a lot of roons to make, so I cranked them out this morning and now our house is filled with a lovely sweet coconut aroma.
Blonde:
and chocolate:
Some eats:
Fruit cup with organic kiwi + plum and mango from the farmer’s market. That mango rocked my world- I’m so glad I saved half of it for tomorrow
A very tall [leftover] beast:
Everything from last night, minus the Pilot’s insane grilled salmon.
I kind of have a *thing* for anchovies right now… I added two minced ones to the salad beast:
So salty, so good.
Just don’t look at them.. they’re a little creepy… but from my experience anchovies > sardines
In between the hustle and bustle of the day, my madre treated me to a pedicure.
[The nail tech lets you take home the files and buffers she uses]
I don’t know what tipped my mom off to the fact that I needed a pedicure. I usually do my toes every week, but since it hurts to reach them, I haven’t this week and they were looking a little rough.
Also, I rarely get pedicures because:
1. I have no prob painting my nails at home (or will just go get a polish change instead of a full pedicure)
2. If I’m getting a spa service, I roll with facial or massage every.time.
3. A nail tech in Valdosta stabbed me with the scraper-thing. I bled. It was not fun.
This pedicure was HEAVENLY. She used a raspberry scrub on my legs and feet and my nana said she could tell I was trying not to fall asleep or drool. Hawt. {Nana got her nails done right before me, so we got to hang out}
It was cute too because when I left, the nail tech hugged me. It kind of surprised me because I myself am a huge hugger. If you’ve ever met me (like at HLS or another event) chances are that I’ve hugged you. It’s a big part of my culture and family- we hug. Everyone.
Well, I’ve tried to restrain my huggy ways because I’ve realized that some people don’t like to be hugged. I met a man at a family gathering and went to hug him and he said “I’m not a hugger. I shake hands.” Sorry, man.
Are you a hugger? Or notsomuch?
I’m about to go hug a pumpkin spice latte and head to Zumba.
xoxo
Gina
