Chip dance

Whenever the Pilot flies at night, I try to bring on the rain so that his flight is canceled and he comes home. So nice, huh?

Last night, in typical Gina fashion, I did the rain dance,

Rain 3

and the chip dance.

Chicps

I was just going to have a couple handfuls but then I dominated the entire bag. Oops.

Salad on the side:

Chipotle

The other half with eggs for breakfast this morning 🙂

While I did make it rain, it wasn’t enough to bring the Pilot home early.. but I did get some new pants. That’s always something to be excited about:

Pants

I LOVE HM’s fall clothes, and last year, when the sweaters and sparkly holiday styles came out, I was at least 7 months pregnant so I just lusted from afar (even though I found some great things in their maternity line). It’s fun to have some new things for fall, especially since I’ve sold and donated a lot of my clothes. I’ll probably do a post similar to this one on the Fashion page soon.

Today is going to be a little bit of a whirlwind, but I’m lucky to be in some awesome classes: Zumba, Bollywood and Hip Hop.

Snacks:

+ a suitcase with different outfits, shower stuff, etc

Just wanted to say hi before heading out! Hope you’re having a great week so far <3

Thank you so much to those of you who have tried the Jump Rope Strength workout and let me know. New Tabata will be up tomorrow!

xoxo

Those pants look so fun! I love H&M because it is well priced and you can get some trendy stuff without spending the big bucks. Your fig salad is also so pretty! My roommate and I have a big basket of figs in our kitchen right now…pop one at a time!

Can’t wait for fall fashion! I wanted to wear tall boots today but still a little too warm out.

Those pants are adorable. I love it when you are able to find awesome stuff in the stores. Makes the day happy. 🙂 It’s hard though to stomach seeing all the Fall and Winter fashions in stores. I want another month or two of this beautiful Summer stuff yet!

Funny how that always seems to happen with tortilla chips. 🙂

Glad you found some new duds – I love shopping for fall clothes more than any other season. But it’s still HOT here! 🙂

Cute pants!! I haven’t gone near H&M recently (or the mall in general) because 1) I’m so not ready for summer to be over, 2) once I get started with clothing shopping, I can’t stop, and 3) I’ve been spending WAY too much at Lululemon lately!!

Chipotle chips are so amazing, it’s hard to say ‘no’! Lately I’ve been ordering the kid size chips, it’s about 1/3 of the size of the regular (and only $.89!), instant portion control without having to use will power. You still get that limey-salty-crunchy goodness without feeling too bad. Win, win!

Those look like some pretty nasty clouds in that picture! And now you’ve got me craving some Chipotle 🙂

I want to hear more about this ‘Rain dance’!

I do love H&M though. I just got a new sports bra from there + this awesome work blouse + a silver skirt! Only paid $25. You really can’t beat that!

Did you see Kara Goucher at any of your dance classes??

Chipotle chips are amazing. I could eat the whole bag myself too 🙂 Especially with guacamole!

  16. Emily on August 22, 2012 at 10:41 pm

Chipotles chips are so dangerous! Especially when dipped in their amazing salsa and guac…mmm…

I love those pants! I have the hardest time finding things I like in H&M or Forever 21 but my friends always leave with tons of cute stuff. Maybe it’s time I give them another chance!

I just wanna say: I really love (and appreciate) the “something to think” blerbs you post. 99.99999% of the time (okay 100%) something resonates with me and just gives me a good, self-love kinda feeling. So thanks 🙂

I love Chipotle; that sounds really good right now (and it’s only 8:57am here…).

I love your reference to dabbling in so many different passions and being “good” at all of them but not specializing in one. I think that is such a common theme for so many women ( and men! ). I know you are a busy mommy and wife who loves yoga, so I wanted to give you a recommendation for a FABULOUS web- based yoga site. A friend recommended it to me, and I use it at least 4x a week. The instructors are better than most of the instructors I have taken actual class with, and the classes are filmed in Jackson Hole so you can imagine how gorgeous the scenery is! Check it out: http://www.yogatoday.com…my fave instructors are Adi and Sarah.

    Have a great day!
