Favorite things giveaway: Count Me Healthy

12 days of giveaway fun continues! Did you enter the Fivesse giveaway? All of this week’s giveaways will end this Saturday at midnight. If you’re just joining in the fun, you’re in for a treat! These are all companies I reached out to and asked them to share some holiday cheer with you all. These giveaways are not sponsored (there is one sponsored White Plum giveaway because I wanted our last WP giveaway to be during this magical time), and many of the giveaways have multiple winners.

How about something sparkly?

I am obsessed with the Count Me Healthy bracelets! We ran a giveaway once before, and it was one of the most successful ones on the blog, ever. Not only are these bracelets gorgeous to look at and well-constructed -I’ve accidentally worn mine to work out before, and it’s not tarnished or scratched at all- but they also have a surprise hidden purpose. On the Count Me Healthy bracelets, you’ll see beads that you can move from side to side. These beads can be used to track anything you desire! They’re especially fantastic for health-related goals (workout sessions in a week, glasses of water consumed each day, produce servings per day, days abstaining from cigarettes if you’re trying to quit, etc.) but can count really anything, including breastfeeding sessions for new mamas, personal weekly goals you’ve hit, and the list goes on and on.

I love my rose gold bracelet, and Chelsea Charles, the creator of this incredible line, sent me one of her brand new bracelets from the crystal collection. The purpose is the same, but each bead is adorned with small crystals.

She also kindly offered to surprise two lucky readers with their own Count Me Healthy crystal collection bracelets.

Two winners will each receive one bracelet of their choice from this collection, valued at $148 each.

Being preggers, definitely water to make sure I’m getting enough.

I would use it to count how much water I drink

I recently cut out dairy from my diet (well, trying – it’s just SO good!) after deciding it may have a role in frequent stomach aches and breakouts. In addition, I thought now would be the perfect time to challenge myself to eat more greens and plant-based foods. So I would definitely use this bracelet to keep track of my progress towards healthier living.

I definitely need to keep track of water – especially here in the desert!

I would count my walking steps, while slowing down and finding gratitude.

  8. Ashley N. on December 6, 2014 at 3:39 pm

I’d love to use the bracelet for tracking water and cutting out refined sugars for a month!

The bracelets are gorgeous – being able to use them to track water intake would be a great bonus! I could also use it to keep track of my dairy intake – I suspect I might be developing some intolerance, & being able to track it this easily would help me figure out what works best for my body.

I would use it to count every time I overcame a food fear in my ED recovery process!

I would use it to count the number of fruits and vegetables I eat in a day. I just found out I’m pregnant and with morning (all day) sickness I haven’t wanted to eat anything so this would help me keep track without having to write down everything I eat.

Keeping track of the fruits and veggies I eat in a day. I’m doing great on my water consumption for breastfeeding, but making sure my snacks and meals during the day have been well rounded has been tough with a 9 week old!

I love the golf goddess rose gold bracelet!

  15. Anna on December 6, 2014 at 6:04 pm

Keeping track of my water intake – it’s tempting to just drink coffee during the exam period 😉

  16. Erica Krupp on December 6, 2014 at 6:18 pm

I would use this to count how many times I took the stairs over the elevator 🙂

I guess I too like the idea of using it to track my water intake through the day

  18. Mallory on December 6, 2014 at 7:00 pm

Well that would be super awesome for knitting so I can count my rows!

I would count how many times a day I say I love you to my hunny. I think we need to slow down and be more vocal about our adoration of one another <3

  21. Sue on December 6, 2014 at 9:35 pm

Water Intake or each time I said NO to sugar.

  22. Kelster on December 6, 2014 at 9:41 pm

    My water intake

  25. Heather S. on December 7, 2014 at 7:22 am

I would use it to count water consumption. In the winter months I struggle so much with staying hydrated and this would be a fun way to keep track!

Keeping track of my veggies per day! I’m trying to incorporate them more into my regular meals

  28. Sana on December 7, 2014 at 11:46 am

I would use the bracelet to count to count how many times I get up and stretch from my desk at work! Sometimes I get so caught up at work, I end up sitting all day without a break!

  30. Katy on December 7, 2014 at 1:33 pm

I would use this to track my water intake, or the fruit and vegetable servings i get in a day!

I had a flat tire last week and a bunch of guys outside my clinic were filming a movie. Not only did they offer to drive me anywhere I wanted to get help or a new tire, they also didnt let the parking cop ticket me while I was on the phone with roadside assistance, which would have been a $50 ticket. When the guy came to change my tire they gave him a water bottle, granola bar, and gave me a hot chocolate ( it was -5c degrees outside). I was SO blown away and thankful bc I live in Toronto, a cut throat city that’s not really filled with great people who would just help or be nice. They said the world has too many people who aren’t kind or compassionate so why not do small things to make someone happier when you can. I would use this bracelet to track my own random acts of kindness and make sure that I always try to be a better person, put a smile on someone’s face, and pay it forward. That’s really what life is all about anyways, isn’t it?

  32. Sylvia on December 7, 2014 at 3:25 pm

  34. Danielle on December 9, 2014 at 6:52 am

I would definitely use it to count how many bottles of water I drink each day!

  35. Denise on December 10, 2014 at 8:24 pm

I never get enough water! Definitely would be that!

  36. TERESA on December 11, 2014 at 8:53 am

I would count my pounds lost or maybe days on track. I’ve been working on cleaning up my diet – which includes eliminating grains, sugar and dairy. It’s hard, but I know I can do it. I’m already down 6 pounds just this week….so I can see some definite progress. This would help me really focus.

  37. Kim on December 14, 2017 at 9:57 pm

I’d either track water -or even better, days I’m on track with clean eating. What a cute and useful bracelet!
