Friday Faves +Arkansas, you are so nice

Hi friends! HAPPY FRIDAY! What are you up to this weekend? Anything fun? We still have one more full day here in Little Rock and are having a blast. We’ve been able to check out a few of your amazing suggestions so far, too.

Tom liv and connie

Yesterday, we took Liv to the All Aboard restaurant (a train delivers your food- she loved it!), and the Discovery Museum, which is the coolest children’s museum we’ve ever seen. There were so many fun things to do, and lots of interesting exhibits.

We also had an amazing dinner at ZaZa’s pizza.

Some faves from the week and around the web:

I loved this so much. All the feels, and so much YES.

Indians try American candy. Tears of laughter rolling down my face.

The entire collection is incredible. April 19 can’t come fast enough.

Tom Hanks reenacts all of his films in 6 minutes.

14 things girls who take workout classes do but will never admit to.

Paleo creme eggs? I must try these. Some real Cadburys will be in my life, too, because ’tis the season.

I’ve had my eye on these, and now they’re 25% off! (code: HAPPYSPRING)

Carla and Roni’s new book is available for pre-order if you’d like to check it out! I can’t wait to read it.

The best sneakers to crush your workout routine. I’ve been wearing the New Balance fresh foam shoes they featured (for Orangetheory) and absolutely love them.

An interesting article from a former Sea World trainer.

NOT a fave, but definitely worth sharing. This is just ridiculous, and Anne’s response was perfection.

I love to hear what you’re enjoying, too, if you’d like to shout it out in the comments!
Have a wonderful weekend <3

xoxo

GINA! I’m going to cry because that feels article? First time ever that anyone ever wrote or said it gets easier. And I have the dumb brain thing. And I had three kids in four years. So much YES, indeed. Teenage years are mostly awesome? Yay!

If it’s not abundantly obvious that I am surrounded by negativity regarding my kids and the trauma they will allegedly cause me… Anyhow, I found that article super encouraging. Thank you.

Great diversity of links today! I’m loving Goodreads. My summer reading list is all organized. If you use it, I want to connect b/c you have great recommendations.

I LOVED the video of Indians trying American candy. Classic. Then I found the link to Aussies trying American food and that one was almost as good (I studied abroad in Australia in high school so it brought back lots of funny memories–my friends hated Reeses Pieces but loved Jolly Ranchers!) Also, that cheese thing is ridiculous. I can’t believe that Kraft singles were given that label–totally absurd! I’m currently loving Supergoop sunscreen. I’ve been trying to be better about a daily sunscreen habit and not just when I’m at the beach once a year. I love the mineral sunscreen, which wears perfectly under make up and the sunscreen oil is awesome for people like me who hate putting lotion on their bodies 🙂 Have an awesome weekend!

Ive been reading your blog for over a year now and love it!! So glad you are loving Arkansas! I’ve lived here my whole life and actually lived on the same street as zazas when we lived in Little Rock a couple of years ago!:) Thank you for continuously giving great advice and being a positive influence as a woman and a mom!

Umm that feelings article? My husband asked me why I was sitting here crying! LOL! All true so far.
I enjoyed my first pure barre class today. A nice change of pace as far as my normal barre routine goes.
