Fun Pack

Hi friends! How’s your day been?

*Last chance to bid on macaroons! It’s for an excellent cause and I’ll be throwing lots of foodie goodies in there. A Gina fun pack, if you will Smile haha

Thanks again for the awesome comments and love today. <3 The “why I’m moving” post will be up in the AM and then I’m moving on! For realz. I’m actually excited about the cross country road trip- this will be my 4th!

Tonight, I took my last Dance Trance class for a little while.

dt2

Definitely going to miss the Orlando DT family, but I’ll be back to visit them <3

Dinner was a la hotel microwave:

microwave

A vegan Amy’s burrito and a box of organic veggies Smile

Lunch:

abcereal

Almond butter dip + bfast cookie cereal

Snackage:

carrots n hummus

Not too shabby, but I really, really can’t wait to make a real dinner when I get to T-town. What to make first? Salmon? Butternut squash lasagna? Enchiladas? So. Stoked.

The puppers have been little angels this entire time we’ve been at the hotel *knock on wood*

bellavies

I thought that they might be super stressed out with the craziness going on and be naughty or get in a fight, and I’m really proud of them for stepping it up. They’re acting just like we’re at home.

We will be soon Open-mouthed smile

I’m gonna take a little snooze and then pick up the madre from the airport.

Have a lovely night <3

xoxo,

Gina

I haven’t tried Amy’s Vegan burritos yet but I’ve been curious. Are they good? Have you tried the indian flavors yet?

Hey, Gina, I was wondering since you travel so often if you could offer some tips on healthy eating while traveling. we’re traveling for the holidays next week and i’m stuck as far as figuring out what to eat. does every starbucks have oatmeal?

    • Fitnessista on December 6, 2010 at 9:44 pm

sure! i’ll do that for this week’s reader’s request 🙂
i’m pretty every starbucks does- if not, pack ziploc bags with measured out oatmeal in each one and at a coffee shop, ask for a cup of hot water. add the oats, wait 5 minutes and there ya go 🙂

      • lindsey on December 7, 2010 at 9:19 am

thank you! i have food tackled down while we get there, but there is one long day of air travel and i know that airports have a plethora of fast food and limp lettuce salads – neither of which appeal to me or my husband.

  19. Jackie on December 6, 2010 at 10:34 pm

Good luck with the trip! We’re definitely going to miss you in Orlando. Wish we had the chance to hang out more but I’m glad to made the IRL connection with you! Now we’ll just have to be CFF — Cyber Friends Forever! I’ll be following all your travels and hoping to see you back in the Sunshine State again sometime soon. Next time we’ll try to warm things up a bit for you! Bon voyage!

  20. Sara on December 6, 2010 at 10:41 pm

I love that you take your doggies everywhere and they are SO cute. My mans job took him from NZ to England and back. Now that was an interesting bit of packing. Our gear turned up five MONTHS after we did, then our flat was sold one month before we were due to come back to NZ. Getting another place to live for one month was difficult and very expensive, so I’m feeling for you. There was no way to take our four cats so we had to find them foster homes.. heart wrenching. It will be great to see you settled again and creating havoc in the kitchen.

  22. Sara on December 6, 2010 at 10:43 pm

Oh, and Starbucks oatmeal. They have it everywhere. Vienna, Rome, London, Auckland…

  23. Mo on December 6, 2010 at 10:53 pm

Those furry faces sure do make everything seem right with the world, don’t they? Thru all this – are you sleeping ok? That is always the first thing that suffers when I’m stressed – if you have the sleeping thing down, what are you secrets? That would be a good topic.

Well, sleep good. I’m going to stay up so I can win your macaroons!

your little puppers are real troopers…and so adorable, as usual 🙂

So happy for you that you are MOVING ON! And I was reading some of your tweets (I am traveling and catching up on things a few days later but whoa…glad to hear things are going from cordial to honest.)

Honesty is the best policy. I hope you get it all off your chest. And can move on, knowing you did everything you could do in the situation, to the best of your abilities to make things work the best for everyone. And now you can move on to the next chapter of your life.

    Hugs hon!!!!!!
