Happy Soda Bread Day

Hiiiii 😀 Happy St. Patty’s Day!

This day always reminds me of my Irish dancing days, and dancing the entire length of the St. Patty’s Day parade (about 2 hours). The soda bread waiting for me at the end was the best reward ever 😉

I’m back in Valdosta!

I have to say, it’s beautiful here (more beautiful now that I don’t live here anymore, haha). It’s nice to hear Southern accents again and see TREES. I missed trees 😀

When I got to the hotel last night after such a whirlwind travel day,

I crashed hard.

Woke up this morning,

My workout was based on the Spring Fever workout I posted a couple of weeks ago with much of the same music. Such a blasty.

Well, I’m off to get ready…

GINA I had no idea you irish danced! I did too for 13 years of my life, and still play the IRish Harp!

Since I have to work today, I celebrated by eating whole wheat soda bread and vegan colcannon…

Crazy over that outfit, Gina! I can’t wait to get my hands on some warm weather dresses! Unfortunately our definition of “warm” is the 66 degrees we had in Chicago today 😉

Hi Gina! I just love your blog. I found it through my sister who is a reader. I have been trying to eat more organically, and workout regularly, (and lose the last of my baby weight from having two girls)! I love your recipes and ideas, and you are so darn cute. Reading your blog helps keep me motivated, so thank you for sharing!

    Hi Gena,
Just wanted to ask…I eat salmon alot during the week. I often buy the 5 oz. portions (vacuum sealed) and finish off the WHOLE thing (even when I simply can’t eat anymore…I have to eat it if its on my plate…plus I guess I have to gain some weight so…) anyway, is 5-6 oz of salmon at ONE sitting too Much?

  24. Carolyn (Life in the postcard) on March 17, 2011 at 7:48 pm

  25. Racheal on March 17, 2011 at 8:09 pm

I live in Phoenix and it’s funny how you don’t realize the lack of trees. Then you travel and you can’t believe all the trees and green 🙂 Have fun!
