Happy Soda Bread Day

Hiiiii 😀 Happy St. Patty’s Day!

This day always reminds me of my Irish dancing days, and dancing the entire length of the St. Patty’s Day parade (about 2 hours). The soda bread waiting for me at the end was the best reward ever 😉

I’m back in Valdosta!

I have to say, it’s beautiful here (more beautiful now that I don’t live here anymore, haha). It’s nice to hear Southern accents again and see TREES. I missed trees 😀

When I got to the hotel last night after such a whirlwind travel day,

I crashed hard.

Woke up this morning,

My workout was based on the Spring Fever workout I posted a couple of weeks ago with much of the same music. Such a blasty.

Well, I’m off to get ready…

I didn’t know you did Irish dancing — I was just thinking jazz, ballet, etc. So fun. How exhausting to dance a whole parade length…yeesh! We used to walk in them and that was enough for me 😉 Hope that the adventure is awwwesome 😉

Love Irish soda bread, I have a recipe from my boyfriend’s Irish grandma that is AMAZING. Seriously, I make it, pull it out of the oven and two hours later my boyfriend and I are stuffed and there’s a pile of crumbs in front of us.

    Have a lovely day!

There will be a Guinness or two in my belly before the day is over! We have soda bread here at the office too – I warm mine in the microwave, yummm. Did you have the curly wig and colorful costume as well? The hard shoes are my favorite – very powerful sounding. Happy St. Patty’s from your Irish friend – I tell people I bleed green! Mo

There’s a TV show on Lifetime that’s about real-life military families returning from overseas to surprise their families…I tear up every time I see the preview for it, so I doubt I’d make it through a whole 1/2 hour. Have fun today!!!! Ahhhh! So happy for you 🙂
