I Got You Beib

Hey hey hey Open-mouthed smile Happy Saturday! How’s your day going?

I started mine off by sleeping in (until 8, but I’ll take it!) and a delicious breakfast:

egg

An egg-stada with 1 egg, 2 egg whites, arugula, HOT salsa, goat cheese, some brown rice toast and green tea

Bella and I went to the park for my little bro’s soccer game.

bell4

She was the official team greeter and social butterfly. She loved all the attention from the kids and jumped into their laps to give them kisses Smile

Recent eats:

snack

Protein pudding with mashed sweet potato, goat’s milk kefir, Sun Warrior, Standard Process dairy-free and cinnamon

+ my FAVORITE Larabar (yes, it’s officially replaced Coconut Cream Pie as my fave)

I ended up enjoying the pudding with a hefty blob of almond butter from the work stash Smile

pudding

Rice Milk Chai from Ike’s (I’ve been thinking about getting one since yesterday, so it was a lovely Saturday treat)

chai

Last night, we actually didn’t end up seeing the Justin Beiber movie. The next show was at 10-something and I since I’m an old lady, I would have curled up in the theatre crashed out Winking smile

Instead, we all got Froyo.

Here’s mine and Bella’s:

yogurt

I got the only dairy-free flavor (orange), but didn’t end up eating it- just munched the berries. The florescent orange color was disconcerting, and it was WAY too sweet. The berries were delicious, though.

Bella enjoyed her Bella-sized vanilla with 2 strawberry bites Open-mouthed smile

So today I’m off to help my bro get a new car (I like to wheel and deal) and then off to a party.

Lots of fun stuff to come on the blog this week- I’m excited Smile

See ya in the morning!

xoxo

I used to adore J.T.T. back in the day!

I was watching the movie Restrepo last night and they have a couple of scenes of A-10s in Afghanistan doing some cool air strikes and I thought of your husband 🙂 You might like the movie!

Hey Girlie! I have been following your blog for since late last year but for some reason I could never figure out how to post a comment until not to long ago. Thank god I did tho. I need your FiTneSsiTa expertise on something lol. I need to get new sneakers.. sneakers that are good for weight training and the such. Right now I have a pair of all leather Nike Shocks and don’t get me wrong.. I Lurveee my Purple, Pink and Black Shocks (as Im sure you would too!) but sometimes I feel like they are not that great for my knees and ankles as well as my balance. What’s your best pick for training sneakers ?!? Thanks.. I would really appreciate your help xoxo

      hey girl!
thanks so much for saying hi 🙂
my fave are asics. i have pronation with my right foot and they’re a little more supportive. i’d recommend going to a running store and having your feet checked. they’ll tell you what kind of shoes you need and it will help your knees out a little!

My childhood crush, hands down, was Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys. I remember reading his biography in the insert of a Backstreet Boys tape and discovered his favourite colour was green. Even though I hated this colour, I changed my fav. from blue to green because I thought we’d be more compatible.

What a little stalker child I was haha

ahhh ill have to wiki him! i was wondering what happened to him

  15. Raya on March 7, 2011 at 12:25 am

Ahh, JTT!! I used to be so in love with him. Funny story: When I was 14 or so, my parents went on a trip to Los Angeles. One night they called me from there and said they had seen Jonathan Taylor Thomas at the Hard Rock Cafe and they got his autograph. I was sooooooo excited and jealous!!! They didn’t get any pictures but I didn’t care, I had his autograph!

It wasn’t until maybe a year ago (I’m 28 now) that it occurred to me that their story may have been fake. After pestering them, they fessed up-they had, in fact, made it up. They had my Grandma look up his signature (I don’t know how) and practice it over and over again until it seemed realistic. Then they had her sign a paper bag from the Hard Rock Cafe and gave it to me.

    Fail.

  17. Nat on March 7, 2011 at 6:43 pm

    Where’d you find that flavor?!

  18. Dee on March 8, 2011 at 4:54 pm

Wow, I’m so glad you shared the pudding sweet potato. I was eating a left over roasted yam from the fridge and thought, this is alot like butterscotch pudding! I wonder if I food-processed it would it be like eating pudding? But I was too chicken to try it. After seeing yours, I definitely will!
