In with the new

Our New Year’s Eve was filled with

family

friends

me and meg

(of the human and fur variety)

vies

food

and fireworks.

boys

Ball so hard.

Fireworks were illegal here for a long as I can remember, and just a few years ago, they changed that.

Needless to say, my brothers and husband were very excited…

We ended up coming home shortly before midnight, and slept in until 11. A lovely holiday indeed 🙂

This morning, the Pilot is cooking pancakes and eggs on the new griddle

and then we’re off for a family hike.

Hope your year is off to an amazing start!

See ya later today with a New Year’s Ab burner <3

ps – I’m so glad you didn’t have the baby while I was gone on vacation last week – I was a little worried I had missed it!

It is so strange to see how fireworks are such a tradition in warmer climates. I don’t know of many who set off fireworks in the north east! Although, this year it could have totally been done with the crazy warm temps!
Happy New Year, Gina! Your bundle will now be a 2012 babe!!

Hi! I’ve been reading your blog for about a year, it’s fantastic! I’m just starting the Making Babies Program, but I’m a terrible cook without taking out all the bad stuff! Can you direct me anywhere I can find yummy recipes like you have here?

    Thanks! Happy New Years!

My BF is in love with fireworks & every 4th of July spends a great deal of money to put on a show for his family (and it is also one of his sister’s birthdays) !
