Livi-isms

Mermaid

“Patience means waiting without crying.” We were waiting in line, and Livi started to fuss a bit (saying she wanted to leave and pulling on my hand). I asked her to please be patient, and she said, “Ok. Patience means waiting without crying.” (I later find out that Tom has been telling her this for a few weeks. She totally got it haha.)

Me: “Are you my nugget?!”

Liv: “No, I’m your cinnamon roll.”

Liv: “Where’d you get that beautiful face from?!”

[Pointing to random people at the farmer’s market] “I’m going to turn her into a princess, and I’m going to turn him INTO A GOON.”

Last night post-bedtime, after coming out of her room for the 1827394 time.

Me: “Liv, you need to go back to bed.”

Liv: [does a very serious and super crazy tap dance-esque fancy feet move] “HOW ‘BOUT THAT.”

I had to turn away so I didn’t bust out laughing.

More Livi-isms here, here, here, here, and here.

*this has nothing to do with this post, but it’s today only so I had to shout it out! Get your copy of “HIIT It!” on super sale for Kindle; ends tomorrow. <3

These are my favourite posts of all! (Followed closely by ones relating to Bella and Caro!)

    BWUAHAHAHAHAHA!

I am BEGGING you to write a livi book. I kid you not. A livi quote a day keeps the doctor away. I’d read one quote each night before I go to bed.

On a completely separate note, if I tagged you in my confession post where you confess something thats like, “oopsies!” Or, “what was I thinking?” Would you write one? 🙂

I went to buy the kindle version and it said for this country (USA) the price is different. You said it was today only but ends tomorrow. The post was the on the 13th but I’m guessing you wrote it on the 12th which meant it is over.

    Hola Gina!!

These posts ALWAYS bring a smile to my face… specially now that I have a little 4 month old nugget… and I can’t wait until she starts cracking me up with whatever she says. I am trying to enjoy her at every age but it’s definitely something that I look forward to.

I hope you are loving SD, I know I reached out to you in the past when you were first going to move here.. now that you are more settled in I would love to see if you and Liv would like to meetup with Sienna (my daughter) and I! I’ve been a reader for about 3+ years now and now that we live in the same city it would be great to meet! Maybe we can meetup for lunch or coffee one of these days! I always like knowing other mamas! We also have a dog about the size of Bella and we go to the OB dog beach from time to time too!

I write for SD Mag and food, fitness and family are my interests as well… we have a lot in common and I am focusing on surrounding myself with people who share my values and energy..which you do!

    Lots of hugs your way!
