    Hi Gina,

Are you of Greek descent? Always happy to meet fellow Greeks 🙂 Out of the menu choices in your picture I would go for Souvlaki or Pastitsio. Love both!

Yum! I love Greek food! I’ve never been able to try baklava though because of my nut allergies… I need to make it my mission to make a nut-free version! 😉

Our Greek Festival is next weekend. I never miss it! I love the pastitsio and spanakopita but I really love the pastries. My favorite is the custard (can’t remember the Greek name).

Good luck with the race. : )

    Hey there!

I am a big big fan of your blog and I have been following you for a couple years now, although I rarely comment. Congratulations on your beautiful baby.

I have a question – would you consider doing a blog post on cleanses? I am planning a two week cleanse to celebrate my birthday and I would love to get your opinion on these kinds of diets. (my plan is no meat, no dairy, no alcohol, no cigarettes, no processed foods and LOTS of yoga :-))

    Thanks!

    • Fitnessista on September 21, 2012 at 2:08 pm

      thank you so much, laura!
i haven’t written too much about cleanses, but i do know that women’s health has a great one (i think it’s called women’s health detox?)
it avoids everything you mentioned and also includes some recipes
hope this helps a little! happy almost birthday and thank you for reading 🙂
      xoxo
