2012 Holiday Gift Guide with Cyber Monday Deals

Hi friends! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with those you love.

I’m off fighting the masses on the fine Black Friday (or who knows, we could all still be sleeping haha), but in the meantime, thought it would be fun to post my annual gift guide for those who are planning their holiday gifts. Every year, I enjoy picking up holiday gifts for everyone, but we all know I like to wait until the last possible minute (aka Christmas Eve) to finish Christmas shopping. This year, I’m endeavoring to finish it ALL by Cyber Monday!

Hopefully below you’ll find new holiday git ideas, as well as DIY and other gifting options. Happy shopping!

I love everything but especially the owl measuring cups! I may just be buying those! ;p

  2. Lisa Langenfeld on November 23, 2012 at 1:10 pm

I love all these ideas – thanks!! I think I may have to get that adorable “namaste” necklace for myself 🙂

  3. Jade on November 23, 2012 at 1:25 pm

My in-laws want homemade stuff, I need to investigate more diy stuff like that but I’m not crafty! For my guy, fishing or hiking stuff would always be winners, and like you said, definitely sports team stuff! Happy holidays Gina!

    • Jean on November 26, 2012 at 1:15 pm

Jade, who says that it has to be home made by you? Etsy is a great place to find hand made products while supporting ‘local’ crafts people. Happy Holidays!

These are great ideas! I am going to get the cool racerback from lululemon for my cousin. Thanks for this awesome list!

I posted about that Anthro candle last week – they are the best. Love those things! And love your lists and ideas – and that Baileys hot chocolate 🙂

  6. Brooke @ BeingVivacious on November 23, 2012 at 1:39 pm

I love that apron! That would make the perfect gift for myself… hmmm

  7. Jackie on November 23, 2012 at 1:52 pm

If a guy has a sports team or music artist he really loves, go in with a few people & get him 2 tickets.

  8. Michelle @ Eat Move Balance on November 23, 2012 at 2:12 pm

Lots of great ideas! Is it bad that I just bought the infinity scarf for myself?!? Banana is 40% today! 🙂

And if anyone comes up with more guy ideas, I’m all ears. I struggle with that one.

My husband loves tv seasons and any corresponding books… This year it’s walking dead. I always get my dad DVDs or coffee accessories. All the guys in my life love electronics and iTunes gift cards too.

  10. Lauren on November 23, 2012 at 3:33 pm

My boyfriend tells me that the new Black Ops is disappointing (apparently the graphics aren’t very good or something) so maybe you can save yourself the trouble 😉

  11. Jen on November 23, 2012 at 3:35 pm

Love this post! AS for boy stuff. So hard. I cheat and ask my husband to make an Amazon wishlist so I can grab ideas. Too funny on the black ops thing… I know that is on his list. So are monster size tv’s *sigh* I think he is going to get a gift certificate for crossfit – we can try it together 😉 — Or I’m going to download a couch to 5k (he claims to hate running, I’d like to show him races are fun) training session and then buy him an entry to a fun local race in the spring. I’ll of course get something off his list too — but I know he will secretly love my gifts to him.

On my list? A Manduka yoga mat 😉 and come cool racerbacks (they are my favs).

    Such great gift ideas!

  13. kristi on November 23, 2012 at 5:10 pm

Now that our life is officially insanely busy with 3 kids and since if we need/want something throughout the year we typically just buy it, the husband and I have decided that we will focus on buying one “surprise” (no hints or ideas given) gift for each other and that’s it. I think my gift to him is going to be some big, crazy Nerf gun he can play with with our 5 yr old son :o)

  14. Kim on November 23, 2012 at 5:32 pm

For a family guy – fun picture of kids and/or spouse
Only Black Friday shopping I did was online – awesome – no crowds and still the same great deals!!!
I love your gift idea – picked out lots of things for my list!!

  15. Sarah @ Yogi in Action on November 23, 2012 at 5:35 pm

Is it wrong that I looked through your list of ideas and thought of which ones I would enjoy for myself? I think this is why Christmas shopping always turns out so expensive- I end up buying one for the person I need a gift for, and one for myself! I get suckered into those “Buy 1 for $10 or 2 for $15” deals.

  16. Miranda on November 23, 2012 at 11:27 pm

Looooove these gift ideas! I found an idea in the most recent Shape magazine that I’m absolutely obsessed with… stackedwines.com. They’re $15 each ($12.99 on the site they go through to sell them) and from the reviews I’ve read, they’re actually good quality wines too! I’m in the process of buying a few for the wine lovers in my life (and also just put in an order for the vdazzled earrings!!) The two together are a lovely combination for my girlfriends!

  17. Bek @ Crave on November 23, 2012 at 11:44 pm

My boy always likes dvds! I tend to steer clear of clothes or shoes because what guys wants them from his girlfriend haha!

  18. Nicole on November 24, 2012 at 12:14 am

Absolutely terrible gift-buyer, as always end up buying everything for myself – whoops! Guys are crazy hard to buy for!!! If they are really into a sport I usually snoop and find out what they need, otherwise sometimes gifts just pop up! Going halves with my sister on a kindle for my brother, seeing as he’s stolen mine and yet to give it back!

  19. Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin on November 24, 2012 at 7:43 am

I couldn’t go shopping yesterday because I had classes and a group project meeting all day! Black Friday isn’t as big of a deal here in Canada anyways, although some stores are hopping on board.

I have no idea what to get my dad either!

    • Fitnessista on November 26, 2012 at 12:33 pm

      we do! awesome!

  24. Alexis Barry on November 26, 2012 at 7:38 pm

These are all awesome gift ideas! It actually gave me an idea of what to get my best friend for Christmas. She loves smelling the candles in every store we go in when we go shopping but she never buys them because she doesn’t want to “waste her money”, she’s one of those smart spenders. But I know she would love to get a couple candles for her apartment. Thanks for the inspiration!
