Bfast cookie goes Glam

Hi everyone! Happy humpday! Hope you’re having a wonderful morning 😀

I started the day off with a lovely sludge:

006

1/2 mango, 1/2 frozen nanner, 1 cup hemp milk, heaping handful of spinach, Stevia, cinnamon, vanilla brown rice protein, and Vegalicious.

Soooo good 😀

So we had this rule when we bought our leather couches that the dogs wouldn’t be allowed on them.

002

It worked out really well 😉

The bfast cookie goes GLAM:

Guess what?!? The bfast cookie was featured today in Vitamin G, Glamour’s health and fitness blog. Click here to check it out! Mayjah thanks to Sarah for featuring my cookie creation 😀

002

Mmmmm!

This could quite possibly be the shortest post ever, but here’s today’s to-do list:

  1. Laundry/pack
  2. Get tires balanced and rotated
  3. Meet Jeni at gym for legs
  4. Juice w/ Jeni
  5. Home for lunch/blog
  6. Training appointment #1
  7. Teach spin
  8. Teach Zumba
  9. Training appointment #2

I’m even more excited about school after last night’s phone chat with Megan. She got up to OKC on Monday, started work yesterday and she’s in heaven. Training has consisted of wine tastings, raw food tastings and learning about raw food. Wine tasting and raw food?? Umm, that pretty much sounds like the best thing ever 😉 So stoked!!!

Have a great day!

xoxo,

Gina

  27. Low on September 2, 2009 at 4:02 pm

That’s awesome that your cookie is now famous!

I just looked up your school. SO COOL! It’s like 10 minutes from my apartment and there’s going to be a cafe open to the public! This is very exciting because there are hardly any vegan/raw friendly places in OKC that I know of!

  28. Shari B. (FitFeat) on September 2, 2009 at 4:15 pm

How totally exciting to be featured on Glamour’s blog! Woot Woot for Fitnessista!

I am so lazy at night that I keep forgetting to make one (I can’t even seem to remember to SOAK my oatmeal let alone add ingredients!) I’m going to put a sticky note on my fridge right now so I remember to make it tonight!

    You rock, sister!

Yay congrats on your famous cookie!! I need to try it out for sure. But will it work without protein powder? I know it won’t be as filling, but I just don’t have any 🙁

Wow, sounds like you have so many wonderful things to look forward to.

Okay, I know that you are headed to school soon, but you say you will be leaving for a whole month? Do you plan to seeing your man during this time? Won’t you miss him terribly?
What an unbleieveable experience for you, but how will you survive without your loves?

    • Fitnessista on September 2, 2009 at 9:35 pm

yes, i’ll be gone for a month and yes, i’ll miss the pilot like CRAZY! we’re considering this to be a mini-deployment for me.. we’re pretty used to being apart because he’s gone a lot. just gotta roll with it and have even more fun when we’re together 😀

  36. Pam (Highway to Health) on September 2, 2009 at 9:04 pm

  39. Heather McD (Heather Eats Almond Butter) on September 2, 2009 at 10:08 pm

The breakfast cookie is redeemed. 😉

Yeah, our pups weren’t allowed on our leather couches either. That lasted less than 24 hours. Now CD falls asleep with both of them every night on the couch in front of the TV…I got booted off, but that’s okay because I get to catch up with my favorite Fitnessista.

Wine? Raw Foods? You’re going to love it! Can’t wait to read all about your culinary adventures.

  40. Liz on September 3, 2009 at 1:56 am

    Hey Gina,

Good luck on your road trip – I can’t wait to see more food porn of your culinary delights! I linked back to your breakfast cookie page today because I made one and blogged about it – mine had spinach mixed in and was a green demon – so so good! I LOVE green breakfasts 🙂
