Gift guide for your guy

Hi! How’s your day been? I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying the gift guides, especially because they’ve been so much fun to put together. I’m sure many of you can relate, but I feel like husbands are simultaneously hard and easy to shop for. He pretty much always likes what I get him -or pretends to, haha- but I just have a harder time picking out gifts for the men in the family. Here are some ideas I put together, and I’d love to hear any you may have, too!

Himgiftguide

Just a heads up: I’m not affiliated with any of the companies below– just picked these products because I thought they were cool. There may be some Amazon or ShopSense links, which have no impact on purchase price, but I earn a very small commission. Thank you for supporting this little blog <3

1. Remote control helicopter. I got the Pilot one of these last year, and it was hours of fun for everyone. Except for Bella… she did not appreciate the fact that she could not fly and catch the helicopter.

2. Fancy flask. It just seems like a cool dude thing to have?

3. Chef knives set. This is one of those nice gifts you may not think to buy for yourself, and the Pilot is constantly commenting on the dull status of our knives.. especially when I’m chopping fruit with a steak knife 😉

4. Sneaks. We <3 Nanos. Even though Reebok gifted us each a pair, they’re our favorite sneaks for everything.

5. Bose headphones. These headphones are INCREDIBLE. I bought a pair for the Pilot since I loved mine so much, and he’s equally obsessed.

6. Beer making kit. (OR a kombucha making kit! I’m so glad the Pilot is finally on board the kombucha train.)

7. Fed by Threads T-shirt. A super soft shirt to support an amazing cause.

8. Tickets to a sporting event, concert or comedian he loves. Experiences always make amazing gifts! Last year, I got the Pilot tickets for us to see Brian Regan live. It was an awesome date night 🙂

9. PS4 or Xbox One. Extra girlfriend or wife points if you get the new Call of Duty to go with it.

10. Sports team grill set and mini BBQ sauces. I know the Pilot has his eye on the Alabama set, and I thought these mini BBQ sauces would be cool to try out.

11. Running jacket. A cozy and weatherproof jacket!

12. Cool whiskey glasses. Love these ones.

13. Button down shirt. You can never have too many 😉

14. Craft beer club. A great gift for the beer-loving dude who has everything. Something fun to look forward to each month!

15. Stocking stuffer: bacon chocolate. No description necessary.

16.  Mocassin slippers. Another thing he may not pick for himself, but will love wearing around the house.

So what are you gifting your guy this holiday season? Any awesome ideas to share?? I can’t wait to hear!

xoxo

Gina

I bought my husband a PS4 with the new Call of Duty. But it wasn’t a Christmas present, it was “just cause’, so I scored MAJOR wife points. Lol.

Great ideas! Filing this away for when I actually get off my butt & start Christmas shopping… 🙂

I LOVE the idea of those Bose headphones. Such a good investment. The last two years, instead of gift gifts, we’ve got each other an “experience” day/night out. This is in effort to spend less money and enjoy some extra time together. So we’ve typically gone out for a nice dinner and drinks. This year, we may go for a ski day. I know that someday we’ll be back in a place where we can get each other some nicer gifts AND go out for dinner, but for now that’s not on the priority list. 🙂

Love this list! I completely agree, husbands are SO hard to shop for. Whenever I ask mine what he wants he just says, “Oh, I don’t know…don’t really need anything”.

  12. Sara @ LovingOnTheRun on November 26, 2013 at 8:28 pm

Love these! My husband is always so hard to shop for! Thank you for the list!

Eric and I aren’t getting gifts for one another this year… thank goodness! he is always so hard to shop for!

  17. Maria on November 26, 2013 at 11:36 pm

There’s this google device that lets you plug it into your iPad and you can stream HBO go to your TV. I’m thinking of getting that for my husband 🙂

  18. Alex @ Kenzie Life on November 27, 2013 at 12:46 am

My college boyfriend was a big whiskey enthusiast so for his 21st I got him those whiskey stones and a beer cookbook. I also got him a bacon scented candle, which won me a lot of girlfriend points and points with his friends, especially since I’m a vegetarian!

This year however I took to Shutterfly to design a gift for my best guy friend. I like that you can design anything from iphone cases to coffee mugs to calendars to blankets!

The helicopter is an awesome gift! It’s always great to have something to play with on Christmas morning and the guys in my family all love that!

Jammie pants or sweat pants make good gifts. Also, a nice belt is a good one.

  20. Ksenija @ With An Open Mind on November 27, 2013 at 2:29 am

What an awesome list! Haha, I got Jay the remote control helicopter years ago and it was one of the best presents ever. But the remaining list will definitely be bookmarked for years to come 😉 thanks Gina, you made a lot of guys happy with this!

  21. Kelly @ Kelly Runs for Food on November 27, 2013 at 7:54 am

Great ideas! I hate trying to shop for my husband too. I don’t know why men are so hard to shop for! I get my husband cologne cause he never knows what to buy.

  22. Elyse @ Lizzie Fit on November 27, 2013 at 11:55 am

Plan a trip! My hubby didn’t grow up camping, but likes it. I planned out an entire week long camping trip with hiking and touring parks in 4 different states. He loved it! That trip has some of our best memories.

  24. Livi on November 29, 2013 at 11:07 pm
