{Giveaway} Dehydration Station

Hiiiiii 😀 Happy Indian Food Wednesday! How’s your day going?

I’m so glad you guys liked the video I posted last night– pretty amazeballz, huh? I also LOVED reading about your pets’ nicknames. Glad we’re not the only weirdos out there 😉

(check out that LEG sticking out! She’s so funny)

We just got back from this morning’s 30 minute walk, and also went to the dog park (DP) so Bella could chase her friends around and collapse in the dirt.

B-fast for the Pilot:

pilot

(Sourdough English muffin with sundried tomato goat cheese, organic turkey, an over easy egg on each side, and 1/2 avocado with berries)

Perfect protein pancakes for me:

pancakes

BANANA SPLIT protein pancakes with a square of dark chocolate, 1/2 banana, organic strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Yes, yes, yesssssssssssssss <—-foodgasm

So I wanted to say a little “thank you” for being so lovely and supportive since the Pilot has been home, with house hunting and life in general, so I asked my friends at OpenSky if we could do a lil giveaway.

When I picked the item, I wanted it to be something I use all the time and LOVE, so it was really an easy choice.

Hmmm with a dehydrator I would constantly be making dried fruits and veggies, like banana chips and kale chips, and then I’d have to experiment away with all the stuff i haven’t been able to before!

Oh my goodness… I would make KALE CHIPS for sure! My fiancee (also a pilot (and I’m a flight attendant)) and I just moved to the US Virgin Islands. There aren’t any cooking stores here, and I miss my kale chips 🙁 I used to just bake them, but I would love to try them in a dehydrator (along with lots of other things I could make with a dehydrator). Fruits and veggies are abundant here, so I would use it ALL THE TIME!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
