H&M Finds

Moccs2

Some of my favorite outings with Liv: storytime at the library (we went this morning and it was such a blast), jumping at the trampoline park, zoo, Children’s Museum, playdates, art projects, and shopping. When we hit the mall together, most of the time we don’t purchase anything, but it’s just fun to walk around and get a smoothie. The other day, we were driving towards central Tucson and I asked Livi if she wanted to go to the mall or the museum. (<– Children’s museum) She said, “Jamba.”

So to the mall we went 😉 I think the smoothie gave me liquid power to brave the stores at Park Place.. it gets a little intense sometimes.

While we’re out and about, Livi is usually awesome and will hold my hand as we walk around. She may even surprise me by riding in the stroller. Other times, she’s a whirling dervish of toddler speed and curiosity.

Shopping2

I decided to check out H&M, and it was a successful stop. I even got to try some things on while she got a kick out herself dancing in the mirror 😉

Here are the finds:

a chambray shirt (pictured above)

a neutral button-up with little flowers

Tops 1 of 1

(chiffon/chambray)

two long-sleeved dresses:

Printed dresses 1 of 1

(black hearts/printed floral)

I’ve worn the floral one with sandals,

Printed dress 1 of 1

Printed dress 1 of 1 2

and will probably wear the black and white one with my booties.

H&M is a great store -decent quality for the awesome prices- but I have to be in the mood to treasure hunt. I’m excited that I got a couple of new things that will wear well into the spring.

Any new finds lately?

What’s your favorite mall store? J Crew will probably be my favorite, but I also love looking around at Francesca’s.

xo

Cute finds!! I just found a super cute chambray top at Old Navy of all places. It was on sale, so I went for it! H&M is definitely one of my favorite stores. Super well priced, cute clothing, and my kinda style.

I love Livi’s shoes! Where are they from? I think my daughter (also a Livi) would love a pair!

I love H&M for inexpensive fashion! Neither of my little are big fans of shopping yet, but I hope my girl will be soon! For now, I go without them.

    I love Francesca’s too!

I’ve been trying to find a chambray shirt that I like and that fits well. I’ll have to check H&M, thanks! 🙂

I love H&M but hate their sizing. I feel like I always have to go up a couple sizes which, right or wrong, deters me from going there sometimes. 😛

Denim shirts are my one true love in life <3

I adore adore adore Bevello! Not only was it founded by a shockingly young Raleigh local, they know just the right mix of in budget and out of budget designers to stock to keep me coming back, buying, and lusting!

  8. Julie on February 4, 2014 at 7:33 pm

I like H&M but like you said, you always need time to browse around.

Cute clothes! I love how she said Jamba, so cute!
I love J Crew and the Gap. Probably too much! 🙂

I LOVE H&M! I might be biased towards the Swedish chain, because my husband is from Sweden, but I manage to always find something for both my son and myself (incl. maternity clothes). For cheap(-ish) clothes their quality is pretty good, I find. Now the baby girl section always has the cutest clothes, and in a few weeks I’ll know if I’ll be picking up baby boy or girl clothes for #2. 🙂

Cute! I actually scored at Nordstrom Rack today and got a new pair of Paige jeans (my favorite), two blouses and a long aztec sweater for $100! They’ve got some great sales right now!

    • Fitnessista on February 4, 2014 at 11:33 pm

looks like i’m headed there this week 😉

    • Missy on February 5, 2014 at 6:07 am

Love Paige jeans. I’ve had a pair for 5 years or so and they still look brand new.

I think the mall is a legit activity with kids. Both of my kids LOVE shopping as long as we don’t stop too long so I can actually buy something. R loves to stand at the fountain and throw in pennies, and Ali loves looking at all the people. Both love to try and rip everything off the shelves. I’m sure the store owners love that. I usually end up sweating as I’m chasing R, but it’s always a fun adventure.

haha seriously! usually for us, it’s a wonderful, relaxing experience or a royal disaster. it’s fun to see what happens 😉

  14. Maria on February 4, 2014 at 9:51 pm

Francesca’s is always a good one! I love when the Gap has great sales on all your basics: T-shirts & sweaters. I just bought some sweaters for myself and little miss there a few weeks back.

    • Fitnessista on February 4, 2014 at 11:27 pm

love gap, too! more for liv than for me, though 🙂

  15. Livi on February 4, 2014 at 10:37 pm

I totally feel you about the ‘liquid power’ for the mall! It’s exhausting haha :)!

    • Fitnessista on February 4, 2014 at 11:25 pm

it gets a little crazy sometimes 😉

  16. Sara @ LovingOnTheRun on February 4, 2014 at 10:46 pm

I love H&M but I have to be in the mood to browse and take my time it is not a store I can go in and out of quickly!

    • Fitnessista on February 4, 2014 at 11:24 pm

same! otherwise i just walk right through

  17. Amanda @ Move Love Eat on February 5, 2014 at 3:35 am

I wish we had an H&M over here! I loved bargain hunting in their when I was in. London!

  18. lucie@fitswisschick on February 5, 2014 at 8:47 am

I love H&M too. And I must say, they made huge progress in outdoor and ftiness clothes. I buy almost all my stuff there, they’re nice and surprisingly good quality!
And basic shirts. OMG I own a wardrobe FULL of H&M basic shirts, it’s scary.

  19. Brynn on February 5, 2014 at 9:36 am

J.Crew, Nordstrom and H&M are my go-tos. I love that I can grab a cute necklace, jeans and a workout top in one stop at Nordstrom. Sometimes efficiency and time are of the essence!!

I just went to H&M on Sunday because I needed a basic black top for my one restaurant course at school. I love the white top with the little flowers. I definitely wish I had looked harder the other day! I also got some cute organic baby stuff for my girl since I love that H&M offers it and at really good prices!!

  21. Crystal on February 5, 2014 at 12:03 pm

Um, I have a hard time picking a favorite store. I love H&M, J Crew, Banana Republic, Nordstrom…and JC Penney believe it or not. That dress with the tiny hearts is so cute!

  22. Sarah on February 5, 2014 at 1:37 pm

Nordstrom & LUSH are my favorites. And I like Naartjie for my toddler.

  23. Leanne on February 6, 2014 at 4:46 pm

Love, love, love those dresses – I think they’d be perfect for work, easy to throw on with some tights & booties. What I don’t love – that you’re wearing sandals and I am sitting at my desk, with a heatpad on, and freezing cold feet 🙁 Very jealous!

  24. Cassie on February 6, 2014 at 6:13 pm

Cute outfits! We finally got an H&M, but it’s at a mall that’s a little further away and always super crowded… also stashed there is the Gap Outlet that I’m obsessed with.

  25. Aditi on February 7, 2014 at 10:20 am

I would love for you and/or Meg to do a post on ethical shopping and our responsibility to pay more attention to what we buy! It seems like you do such a great job of making sure that what you put into your and Olivia’s bodies are healthy, organic, free of chemicals etc. So it would be really nice to hear your thoughts on what we wear on our bodies (not just what we put into them).
