No Dough Left Behind

Hi friends Smile How are you? Hope you’re having a great day so far <3 I lovedloved reading your manifesto quotes and tips.

So did Bella Winking smile

Things with the 30 day detox have become much easier, especially after the allotted coconut ice cream:

ice cream

(while I didn’t finish the entire thing, I can assure you that no cookie dough ball was left behind)

and the full-fledged reintroduction of FISH.

That salad was absolutely amazing. It started with a snafu this morning when I made a simple salad and grabbed a can of soup to go with. The only soup in the house had potatoes and corn (not part of the plan until the 30 days are over), so I just brought a plain salad and a smoothie to work and figured I’d grab something else on my lunch break.

One of my work friends suggested stopping at Blue Willow, an INCREDIBLE veg-friendly place to get something more exciting to add to my salad.

I transformed it into a legit salad beast by adding blackened salmon and roasted veggies– perfection Smile

Some other recent eats:

juice

+ Perfect Protein Pancakes (made with quinoa flour and topped with raw honey)
pancakes

I’m heading back to work, teaching tonight and then meeting friends for dinner!

See ya in the morning <3

xoxo

PS. Check out the b-day cake my bro made in cake’s class:

He’s legit.

Something to talk about: What color do you wear the most? As you can prob guess, pink is #1 but I also wear a lot of grey Smile

i either wear all black (so easy to pull an outfit together) or a bohemian look – bright colour.

That cake is beautiful! He is obviously in the right career!
My colour choices for clothes are determined by the season… in the winter I wear grey, black and brown and as soon as the sun comes back I am in pink, light blue and white. Can you tell which season makes me happy?

I wear a lot of grey and black, especially in the winter. I can’t wait to pull out my colourful spring wardrobe. 😀

Cookie dough blizzards have always been my fav from DQ, but I am sure that Coconut Milk version is a bit healthier for me 😉 And that cake looks amazing!!!!!

Wow, your little bro is pretty legit on cake baking! My favorite color to wear would be yellow, unfortuntly.. I can’t wear it. 🙁 I wear royal purples and dark fushia instead!

    Yuurrrrrrrm! Your bro’s cake looks scru-diddaly-umptious! 🙂

I like to wear all sorts of colors. Some days I feel like sporting a bright-bubbly number, but most days I go for a casual gray, black, light pink or white or some casual stripey action. I really like some of the outfits you gave a sneak peak of the other day– super cute choices!

    Have a good day!

I’m always wearing black as my main outfit but I do accessorize with colors. My favorite color to accessorize with is red!

  17. Shannon S. on February 5, 2011 at 4:08 pm

I wear a lot of black, gray, and brown layered over prints, purple, or green. I am definitely a sweater girl – makes it easy to stretch out my wardrobe when I layer different colored sweaters over different outfits. 🙂

Can you do a giveaway with that cake? Or just the frosting? I’m good with just a container full that frosting. And a spoon. Or just my finger. But dear lord, I need that frosting. 🙂

  19. Kate on February 7, 2011 at 12:39 pm

The cake is beautiful and so is that salad beast! A blackened fish salad sounds delish!

I wear a lot of grey too…and a lot of black. I love the vintagey look: lots of subdued colors and such but I just can’t pull it off!
