On a whim

Morning, friends! How’s your day treating you? 🙂

flowers

Things are good over here. I’ve got my stuff ready to go for work and have CPR training before my shifts today –mine needs to be renewed. I know this experience will be better than my last cert. In Valdosta, I had a way creepy instructor who used me as the “demonstrator” and I didn’t want him anywhere near my belly button thankyouverymuch.

B-fast:

bagel

-gluten-free Udi’s bagel (I’m in bagel love)

-egg whites

-goat cream cheese

Packed lunch:

lunch

-organic avocado

-organic green grapes

-mini salad beast (with romaine, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, sunflower seeds)

-leftover carrot, beet bean burger 🙂

I also have my 5 outfits packed up. 1 for weight room supervisor, 1 for teaching, 1 for my own workout, 1 for pool and 1 for Zumba. Lots of laundry over here, fo sho.

So ever since the Pilot has been home, I’ve been wanting to take a vacay with him. He started work yesterday and I figured that it would be best to go now before things get really crazy with his work schedule. Yesterday, I texted him and said “Vegas?” and was so excited when he wrote back and said “sure, why not?”
We’re going to Vegas, baby 😀

So tell me friends, what are your favorite must-sees and must-dos in Vegas? We’d also like to see a show, so if you have any show recommendations, that would be awesome too 🙂

Off to do the work thang- see ya later today with that Reader’s Request post <3

xoxo

I highly recommend LOVE! I LOVE LOVE LOVED it! If you aren’t the biggest beatles fa Mystere was also excellent… I didn’t care for “O” as much as the others but it was alright-I like something I can follow 🙂 Have a Blast! Trevi is an amazing restaurant there too…it is in Ceasars shops-they have polenta fries that are amazing but not very healthy!

    It has been awhile:
    * There is a sexy round bar at the top of the Stratosphere Hotel with an amazing strip view at night while you have a nightcap.
    * Red Rock Canyon is a cool place to hike around.
    * Although I though once was plenty – my hubby would go to the Hoover Dam EVERY-TIME.
Have a great time in Sin City!!!

I have never been to Vegas, but considering I’m sooo close to being 21, I think a trip should be in my near future 🙂

Especially after all your adventures will surely inspire me to go!!

I saw my first Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas (Mystere) and became addicted! I’ve also seen O in Vegas. If you can do it, it’s something you’ll never forget!

TAO! You have to go for diner… I know you’re a kardashian fan and kim hits that spot up all the time. The lettuce wraps, and vegetable gyoza is delicious and you can hit up the club if you guys feel like after!

Also the Wynn buffet is beautiful and really good… not your typical “buffet”

    Enjoy! xo

I’m going to Vegas in December to run the Rock N Roll Half Marathon and I am really excited to do all the touristy things – ride the gondolas, check out the aquarium at the Mandalay Bay, etc I’ve only been twice before and they were quick – 1 day trips, so I’ll be sure to do what I want this time. Oh and I saw on TV that you can now zipline down Freemont Street? haha I’d love to try that.
