Shaking Along

Heyyyyyy Open-mouthed smile How ya doin?

Thank you so much for your peanut flour tips!

Per your suggestions, for a post-workout snack, I mixed some with water, Stevia and sea salt.

SO much better! I liked it so much, I had it again for an afternoon snack Open-mouthed smile

For the record though, almonds > peanuts. Foreverrrrrrr.

Lunch was a beast of all beasts.

beast

A giant salad with spinach, arugula, 1/2 can of cooked chickpeas, 1 can of toonie (aka tuna), balsamic, hummus, tomatoes and mushrooms with a slice of brown rice bread.

This baby had some HEIGHT too Open-mouthed smile

salad

It was everything I could wish for. Back in college, I ate a can of tuna everyday (hello, mercury), and scarred myself from eating it the past 3 years. After having little bits over the past month or so, it’s officially back.

This afternoon, I got quite a few errands ninja-kicked out of the way:

-car wash (got the bugs off!)

-foot doctor – my broken toe is healing perfectly, even though it still looks like a hot mess

-call with Dance Trance corporate

-found a Dance Trance studio (is this all really happening?)

-made some vegan chocolate chip cookies to send to my Orlando lulu friends and for the fam

cookies

and just put these raw cashews to soak for that recipe I was telling ya about.

cashews

It’s the creamy base for a favorite holiday treat. Any ideas?

Use your NOGgin Winking smile

Going to walk these puppers and then visit my daddoo.

See ya in the morning!

xoxo,

Gina

Have you ever been burned out on a certain food?

Ceasar salad–obsessed with it in middle school and eventually decided that the dressing was basically straight mayo and was grossed out by it. Gena at CR discusses it today, too, so that is kind of convenient.

So exciting for you about your Dance Trance studio! Love how you go after whatever you’re passionate about and make it happen for yourself. 🙂 I really admire that about you!

OATMEAL. I sickened myself with it, I ate for breakfast every day for over a year, and a lot of days I ate it twice (lunch, dinner, snack, you name it…) trying to slowly get it back in though but it’s hard not to gag towards the end ahhaha

I eat toast with butter & strawberry champagne jelly every morning! I hope i never get tired of it.

    I am over rice, though.

I used to eat oatmeal for breakfast every.single.day. But not the good stuff that all you foodie bloggers post about…just the instant sugary stuffage.

After leaving home for college, and being responsible for feeding myself for the first time, I forgot to eat fruit. Then I went to grocery store and saw a bag of navel oranges. They called to me. For the next several weeks, I demolished about two of those bags per week. Nothing on earth tasted as good as those oranges (vitamin deficiency-induced desire, I’m sure). Then, one day I couldn’t stomach another orange. I couldn’t eat oranges for about four years after that! (But I ate other fruit).

Your bangs are super cute! I wish I could rock them like that.

I tend to get burnt out on foods. It’s whatever I get obsessed with during a certain period – yogurt is one that seems to fall into the cycle a lot.

I used to eat a can of tuna or salmon for lunch at school. This last year I survived on mixed nuts (almonds, cashews and a few banana chips).
