Smiling’s My Favorite

Hi guys! How are you?? Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend <3

It was a lovely first full day in Tucson.

tucson

Almost all of the to-do’s got checked off the list, too Smile

-Signed the papers on where I’ll be living (I move in next week!)
-Met some lovely lulus Open-mouthed smile

-Got my gym membership taken care of – took a Zumba class and met a bloggy!

-All of my FedEx stuff is here

-And the perfect ending to a frantic day:

cocoaelf

Vegan hot cocoa (almond milk, cocoa powder, Stevia, vanilla and cinnamon) and Elf.

You don’t smell like Santa

It never gets old, ever Smile

Some recent eats:

larabar

Pei Wizzle:

pei wei

(Kid’s teriyaki shrimp with brown rice and veggies)

Blackened salmon salad from BJs:

salad (2)

As glorious as everything was, I’m officially sick of eating to-go food. It’s been a whole week and since I have a life plan for the next week, I can do some grocery shopping today and get back in the swing of things. So stoked Smile

This morning I’m off to a fitness event and then going to take care of some biznazz.

See ya laterrrrrr friends!

xoxo,

Gina

I got totally sick of to-go food on my honeymoon, so I know what you mean! It’s great because it’s convenient, but it makes you realize how much you miss home-cooking.

Glad everything is falling into place… have a great weekend! 🙂

I hear you on getting sick of take out food — even thought it is so fun to have someone else make the food for you 🙂

I definitely need to watch a Holiday movie soon — only 2 weeks until Christmas!

Here’s to New Beginnings!!!!!! So happy for you! : )

You’re awesome for getting so much taken care of so quickly! Good for you! 😀

  5. Stefanie on December 11, 2010 at 12:44 pm

I agree, eating to-go fun is so fun, but not for long periods of time!

My family watches Elf every Christmas Eve and it def. never gets old! Have a great Saturday! 🙂

  9. Michelle on December 11, 2010 at 12:53 pm

Glad you seem settled and happy! Although I confess I wish you were in Boston so I could take Dance Trance!! 🙂

  10. Sarra on December 11, 2010 at 12:55 pm

You are a go-getter!! After driving forever across the country, you’ve already found a place, new gym, AND had an interview (just to name a few things). You seriously inspire me!

You’re amazing, don’t let anyone make you doubt that! 🙂

  11. Danielle on December 11, 2010 at 1:25 pm

Sounds like you’re off to a great start 🙂 You seem happier already, too!

You are SUCH a class act. After reading many of your 184 comments yesterday (not sure what they are up to now) but I was feeling awful for you. I mean honestly, I almost cried for you and for all bloggers who have to deal with crap. No one blogs and then deserves to have to deal with bigtime fallout. You are classy for just moving on and not even re-hashing it. Or giving it homage today. God bless you!

And I am impressed you have a gym, interviewing, signing a lease…you name it, you are a busy go-getter. And don’t let any monkey business get to you (it seems it hasnt which makes ME want to be stronger when I have fallout)

    HUGS!!!!
    🙂

ahhhh I love it! I watched Elf twice this morning during my marathon cooking – I kid you not – best movie ever! I love that you’re doing so well – soon enough you’ll be back to home-cooked meals!!

hey! I love your site, and I’m glad you’re happy in Arizona again. I just wondered if maybe in a post soon you could talk about protein powder supplements, in relation to weight loss/ management. Also, an explanation of how to navigate around the gym’s protein shake bar? There are sooooo many things to choose from, carnitine, glutamine, etc… thanks! and also, after reading about your love for Zumba, I finally took my first class this morning- it was awesome!!!

Elf rocks, we watched it last night for the millionth time. Great eats, but I know what you mean on road food, we got thoroughly sick of it when driving across country.

  25. Michele @ Healthy Cultivations on December 11, 2010 at 5:17 pm

I love Elf too. I hear they’re turning it into a Broadway musical… should be very interesting. But hey, when there’s Broadway and musical in the same sentence, I say yes without asking questions.

  26. Ashley @ the fit academic on December 11, 2010 at 5:19 pm

Elf is hilarious! One of my favorite Christmas movies, for sure! So glad you’re getting settled in – sounds like this was definitely the “right move” (pun intended, lol). Have a good weekend!!!

  27. Chelsea on December 11, 2010 at 5:44 pm

So happy you’re back in Tucson! I’ve been a long time reader and U of A alumni as of this may. You MUST try the zumba class at the downtown YMCA with Issa. She’s amazing!!!

  30. Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin on December 11, 2010 at 6:12 pm

I haven’t seen that movie in years because there was one year that I saw it so many times that I got sick of it haha. I think it’s time to dust it off and watch it again. 😀

  31. Jodie on December 11, 2010 at 6:29 pm

I am so happy you are settled in. I wish you all the success and happiness in the world. I have always wanted to visit Arizona, maybe you could do a post of places one must see if and when visiting Tucson. Not sure if you are still taking reader requests.

    Have a great weekend.

I never comment, but I love your blog, and I’m so happy for you that you’re where you belong. I had a traumatic move that surrounded me with the wrong people, and I can’t help feeling relief again to see you happy. Congratulations!

I just made your version of vegan hot cocoa– it is DELICIOUS! I’m so excited since I get stomach aches from sugar at night, but am always craving chocolate. This is the perfect thing!
