Wrap me up

Helloooooo 😀 How’s your Saturday going?? Hope you’re having a great weekend so far <3

I missed the hip hop dance class this morning. I TOTALLY wanted to go, but really needed to hit up the post office and Whole Foods, so time didn’t allow it. Next week, I *will* be getting my groove on 😉

After errands, I took the puppers to the dog park (and Viesa was violated by a poodle, so we left and took a long walk around the park) I came back to the casa and grabbed a Larabar for a snack:

and then got ready to meet Lindsey and Ryan for lunch at Infusion Tea.

buddies

I actually thought we were eating at Ethos Vegan Kitchen, so after getting lost, listening to my GPS tell me to “make a legal U-turn when possible” at least 8 times… I made it 😀

And then had one of the most foodgasmic vegan lunches everrrrrrr:

wrap

That’s a Concorde wrap (hummus, tabbouli, greens and balsamic glaze) with bean salad. It was so lovely (balsamic and hummus pair extremely well!)- it was everything I could ever want in wrap form

 done

but the most amazing part was this:

cookie

Lindsey’s top secret recipe vegan chocolate chip cookies.

Um, mother of pearl. Hands down, the best vegan cookies I’ve ever had. She sent Ryan and I home with extras for later, too 😉

After lunch, the girls and I went to go visit the lululemon showroom.

(Isn’t the stenciled wall beautiful?!)

The lululemon showrooms exist in areas that don’t have a big lulu presence. They’re smaller, more intimate stores so they can give personalized attention to guests who come in, and only offer classic lululemon faves.

I saw about a thousand new things I’d like to add to my little collection 😉 Living in a city with Whole Paycheck and lululemon could be a little dangerous.

I’m off to hit up the gym since there are no more yoga classes today (maybe a HIIT workout and some weights?) and then having dinner with my auntie. I think I’m going to make my first dinner for the fam tomorrow night (I want to try and cook for everyone at least a few times a week)- what to make?!

Have a wonderful night <3

xoxo,

Gina

I lust after lululemon all the time, why oh why must it be so expensive!

That picture of the vegan cookie *so* did not help my craving right now.

Looks like a delicious lunch! (I love pretty much anything with hummus on it!)

I’ve been drooling over Lululemon clothes lately, but I still have yet to bite the bullet and spend so much on workout clothes! Maybe someday I’ll be able to splurge… 😉

That cookie looked so amazig! It had that crunchy look, which is just perfect for a cookie in my book 🙂

Maybe you could get a part time gig with lululemon and get an awesome discount?

I love the look of the lulu showroom… it would be fun to have a girly room in my house like that, just to hang out in with girlfriends 🙂

I am craving a cookie now. My horoscope told me to stay home today, and I’m antsy so maybe I’ll make cookies…

That Lululemon store looks sooo intimate and classy. I have never been in one before, but the picture makes it look kind of intimidating! Luckily I think the Berkeley one is big, so hopefully less scary.

I love Lulu! I just don’t have the money for it most of the time…
And their store is gorgeous. I wish my house looked like that!

OMG that lunch looks amazing. I’m surprised the balsamic and hummus combo worked so well cause this one time I tried tahini and balsamic and well yea it didn’t work out so well.

I was at the Lulu showroom in Phoenix/Scottsdale once..they are nice and quaint and not as crowded and overwhelming with tons and tons of stuff…perfect to be able to really scope out the essentials.

    You’re right, a Lulu and a WF in town…yeah that’s wallet$$$ temptations 🙂

Oh meant to tell you a reader sent me an email about using codes. I had no idea. She said she emailed you too. So you probably already know. But I had no clue things worked that way. It was all news to me. Anyway email me if you wanna chat 🙂

The wrap and the cookies and the girls…how fun and awesome for you!

i recently experienced lululemon for the first time. a showroom just opened here, and now i’m totally addicted. i wish they weren’t so expensive, but so far it seems worth it. by the way, thanks for inspiring me today. i had talked myself out of going to the gym, but after i read this post i decided to go anyway. i’m so glad i did.

Sounds like Orlando is turning out to be lovely. Very cool.
That bean salad looks delish 🙂

  18. Rachael on September 18, 2010 at 10:11 pm

That showroom looks pretty swank – I’d love to experience one, especially since the regular store is already so amazing and welcoming!
Glad you’re getting a whole-hearted welcome in Orlando!

That wrap looks amazing! As for the cookie… I think there’s something about a GOOD vegan chocoalte chip cookie sometimes.. they’re more chewy, dense and just SO GOOD.. better tasting than non-vegan ones, I think!!

Glad you’re “settling in” to FL and loving it! Looks like you are already finding tons of friends, food, and fun things to do there! I’m jealous of all the meetups, good eats and workout classes–oh, and yoga!!!!

  21. Little Bookworm on September 19, 2010 at 5:04 am

That wrap sounds amazing (and I agree hummus and balsamic go well together)! Sounds like a lovely Saturday.

  22. Paige @Running Around Normal on September 19, 2010 at 7:43 am

Glad you’re getting such a warm welcome to the Orlando area:D

  23. Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin on September 19, 2010 at 8:32 am

I never would have thought to pair hummus and balsamic! But it sounds delicious!

Haha I have a Lululemon in my city and I have a hard enough time controlling my spending. I have no idea how I would manage if I had a WF here too! 😛

  24. christina cadden on September 19, 2010 at 10:55 am

That showroom is so pretty. I love that wall.

  25. Pure2Raw Twins on September 19, 2010 at 5:02 pm

We have a Lululemon show room here, actually just found out about it. So we went there on Friday and did some major damage…love the clothes, just wish it was a little cheaper so I could get more.
