hi monica,
i don’t like to post on the blog where i teach for safety reasons. if you are interested in training, the studio where you teach will train you. that’s what i did here in san diego. i trained through one of the studios here and teach their method. for my youtube videos, i do my own stuff
Thank you, Gina. My question was what barre program you trained for and your honest opinion about it. There are lots of barre programs out there; like Booty Bar, Barre 3; Extend, etc I live in Europe ๐
Hello,
I have a question, I am new to barre (and LOVE it) I’m wondering how much is too much? I know people who go everyday and my studio says 3-5 times a week. Is it okay to go four days in a row or is it like weight lifting where your muscles need a recovery day in between? I have gone three times a week and I have gone 5 days in a row. I haven’t seen much change in my body but I certainly am stronger especially cardio wise. I am not new to working out, I’m a P90X and Fix X girl–I was recently introduced to barre so I have added that to my list and I want to make sure I get the most out of it and don’t over do it. Thanks
Gina
What music do you use when you teach barre? I start teaching in Oct and am wondering if I should choreograph or just use upbeat background music
Thanks!
i’m lucky that our studio provides the music. i just pick a playlist and go! i would use upbeat remix music of top 40 stuff as background music
Hi Gina,
I’d like to know what barre program you teach and where you trained.
Thank you. Love your blog.

yeah, i don’t post where i trained because that’s where i currently teach.i recommend trying a few studios to see which one you enjoy!
The Barre method really develops core muscles with minimal pain. Found a great place in Mansfield, DREAM Barre and Fitness.
