POM juice

Hey everyone!!! Happy Friday!

I’m not sure if ya’ll know, but November is National Pomegranate Month!

I’ve already done a little bit of celebrating 😉

pomtinisss

and was a little more than stoked to see these items from POM on my doorstep yesterday

pom goodies

Love me some POM 😀

To kick off national pomegranate month, the lovely people at POM Wonderful have generously offered to give 3 Fitnessista readers each a CASE of POM juice!!!!!

You have two chances to win:

  1. Leave a comment here to let me know how you’d use your POM juice—in a POMtini like yours truly, a smoothie, soup, marinade or any recipe you’ve conjured up
  2. Tweet “I want to win @POMonline juice from @fitnessista”

I’ll pick 3 winners via random number generator and the winners will be announced Monday morning around 8AM EST.

Ready…. set… go!

  2. Katie on November 6, 2009 at 8:06 am

Yum I just want to drink it straight or try it in a smoothie!

  3. Sarah @ The Foodie Diaries on November 6, 2009 at 8:15 am

I would love to use it in a balsamic reduction!! I don’t know if that would work but thats the first thing that came my head haha

  4. Lara on November 6, 2009 at 8:15 am

I gotta say that I love it straight up the best but I also have been thinking about putting it in a vinaigrette… bet a whole case would help me get the recipe just right!

  6. Spotty Prep on November 6, 2009 at 8:19 am

I would use it for holiday cocktails, and I usually make baked apples with orange juice, but I bet they would be great with pom, too!

  7. Lisa on November 6, 2009 at 8:21 am

I would definitely drink it straight up or make a reduction with it and eating it with something savory. Yum!

  8. carolyn on November 6, 2009 at 8:21 am

A POM Martini to celebrate the holidays of course 🙂

  18. Light Delight With Tou Tou on November 6, 2009 at 8:33 am

I would use this POM juice to Glaze the chiken or Salmon. Guess it would be a great substitute for lemon juice + soy sauce or BBQ sauce 🙂 and the color should be perfect when it comes out of the oven!

  19. maria on November 6, 2009 at 8:36 am

I want to make POM popsicles..and of course drink so much POM I turn dk red.. 😉

  20. Rebecca Kenefic on November 6, 2009 at 8:37 am

POM and diet sprite is AMAZING!

  25. Stephanie on November 6, 2009 at 8:45 am

I’d probably make more pomtinis than necessary…but adding pom juice to healthy green smoothies should balance that out 🙂

  26. denise on November 6, 2009 at 8:47 am

I usually like it “straight up” because I love all things tart! Getting creative though, I’d like to try POM instead of key lime juice in a pie for dessert 🙂

  27. Jessie Bea on November 6, 2009 at 8:48 am

I love POM juice either diluted with some h20 or, even better, some sparkling water or seltzer. yum!

  30. Denise on November 6, 2009 at 8:49 am

If I win, I will definitely mix it up. I will have a pomtini, and make some smoothies. I may even make a pom-salad dressing… that sounds good!

  31. Jackie on November 6, 2009 at 8:50 am

I would most definitely make a POMtini

  32. Teri on November 6, 2009 at 8:52 am
