Hey everyone!!! Happy Friday!
Iโm not sure if yaโll know, but November is National Pomegranate Month!
Iโve already done a little bit of celebrating ๐
and was a little more than stoked to see these items from POM on my doorstep yesterday
Love me some POM ๐
To kick off national pomegranate month, the lovely people at POM Wonderful have generously offered to give 3 Fitnessista readers each a CASE of POM juice!!!!!
You have two chances to win:
- Leave a comment here to let me know how youโd use your POM juiceโin a POMtini like yours truly, a smoothie, soup, marinade or any recipe youโve conjured up
- Tweet โI want to win @POMonline juice from @fitnessistaโ
Iโll pick 3 winners via random number generator and the winners will be announced Monday morning around 8AM EST.
Readyโฆ. setโฆ go!
Who wouldn’t love a POM martini!! I would… that’s for sure. I would also try to make some sort of pom glaze to go over chicken or tofu!! POM me up!!!
I would like to experiment with making POM bread or muffins but a pomtini sounds pretty great too! ๐
i would love to make a yummy smoothie! =)
Mmm, Pom. Last year, I had an obsession with pomegranates. This year, I’ve gotten my fix (without the mess of disecting them) by mixing Pom juice with diet 7-up. It makes a tasty and elegant looking drink! Mmm.
I would use the case to start drinking POM juice on a regular basis. I see it in the grocery store but don’t usually pick a bottle up because of watching my grocery spending. A case would be a great way to convince myself it is the right thing to buy ๐
Thanks!!
I would love to win som POM. I would add to my smoothies as well as to my banana bread recipe for some zing.
I’d mix it with homemade lemonade, my favorite!
I would love to try to whip up a POmtini! it looks delicious!
I mix my pom with sparkling water. It’s so refreshing and can take the place of a cocktail! Love POM!
POM juice + oats + cinnamon + water = amazing!!!
I am all about infusing oatmeal with POM juice – sounds like a wonderful way to start the day!
Thanks for the great giveaway!!! I would totally use the POM juice in a marinade for salmon or in a POMtini, which is the perfect drink for this underage college student;)
I would be using POM juice in my Green Monsters! Also I found a fantastic looking recipe that calls for pork tenderloin and POM juice. Mr Man would kiss my feet if I could combine the two!
Mm POMtinis for sure! But if I have a whole case, then probably also POM in my smoothies, POM as a to-go drink, POM in my food. It’ll pretty much be used any way it can, except perhaps dying white tees.
I LOVE Pom juice! I would use it in cooking, making salad dressings, and mostly just for drinking. What a yummy, healthy treat!
Two things- Pom viniagrette for salads, and Pom and Soda for a drink!
I would make POM Velvet cupcakes!!!! (And naturally my own version of a POMtini with a little Chambord and lime).
I drink Pom juice straight up ๐
i think i would make a reduction of it then carefully make a delicious salad dressing.
I am dying to try one of those Pomtinis you make!
Since I am pregnant I am addicted to pom and seltzer, as a mocktail.
I love to just drink pom juice first thing in the morning, but I would love to try baking with it.
I love pomegranates!! This give-away is awesome and I would take my POM juice straight up! =)
Hmm.. maybe I could whip up a nice POM Sangria (POMgria!?!)
-Apple chunks
-Plum slices
-Frozen or Fresh Berries
-6 oz. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
-6 oz. Red Wine
-6 oz. White Wine
-Snapple Iced Tea (the only other โjuiceโ we had on hand!!)
This sounds delicious!!!!
i would put it in tea…hot or cold. i think it would make a delicious iced tea.
I love making a POM reduction sauce for salads or to drizzle over appetizers. You just break down pomegranate seeds, with the pom juice, balsamic and honey in a saucepan until you get a nice thick reduction.
I also add POM juice into my morning smoothies – try 6 oz greek yogurt, pom juice (anywhere from 2-4 oz), 1 c. fresh or frozen organic bluebeirrues, and ice (if you don’t use frozen fruit). YUM!
I love to use POM juice in my smoothies!
all over that pomtini!
would also love it as a glaze over roasted root veggies. mmmmmm.
I LOVE pomegranates!! I love to put them in yogurt, but I’ve been trying to this recipe to use the juice as a marinade!
A Pomatini is a classic and my favorite cocktail but lately the go to recipe has been reduced pomegranate juice over homemade frozen “Pinkberry” clone yogurt.
I just saw a recipe for pound cake with pomegranate whipped cream that looks like a delicious dessert for my next dinner party. Would love to try it out!
Well, a PomTini would certainly be an option. A pomagranate sorbet might be nice for the holidays, too!
I’m trying to kick the diet coke habit for good, and I think POM juice would help me do it!!!
Yum! I would add it to my smoothies!
I would use my Pom in a few things– but top two that come to mind are in a mixed cocktail and in a green smoothie with mango, banana and spinach!
Pom screwdriver….Pom, OJ and vodka!
Pom straight up on the rocks…YUM! Smoothies, muffins, etc. There’s no end to the possibilities!
what a great contest! i would add my POM to everything — smoothies, martinis, parfaits, salad dressing… yummy!
I’ve never had POM juice before so I’d love to try it!
POM with seltzer rocks! I also put pomagranate seeds in greek yogurt with granola… now I want some pomagranates!!!!
I would love to use the arils and make Pomegranate Pancakes! MMMmmm.
I would enjoy my POM straight up! I love the taste of POM and would sip it plain and delicous!
Ohhh! I use POM juice as a marinade for the yummy BBQ-ed Pomegranate tofu I make. I also make homemade Pomegranate molasses (used in lots of Turkish recipes) by boiling down POM juice with sugar & lemon juice. You can save the syrup in use in tons of recipes!
Ohhh! Awesome giveaway!
I think I would make a wine mixer with POM; like, half pom, half wine (red or white) and maybe some sparkly water. That sounds yum. Or drizzle it over some ice cream. Or put ice cream in the wine mixer. Yum!
I would use POM juice in smoothies. Yum! Thank you for doing this giveaway!
So many options! I would make smoothies, salad dressing, mix it with club soda, marinade tofu, …I am wondering what it would taste like in oatmeal/oatbran?
In a POMtini ๐
POMtini, of course! But I’ve also hear you can add it to green tea!
I would def rock those fitnessista-style, pomtinis! ๐
POM smoothies are the best!!
