I have never used chia seeds (does a chia pet count), but I have read so much about them in just the past month! I would definitely find ways to incorporate them into smoothies, oats, cookies… anything that needs a little nutritional burst! But one thing I would LOVE to try is chia pudding!

  30. Anna on February 11, 2010 at 8:28 pm

I love putting them in smoothies!

And I’m curious… why can’t you put the giveaway on the main blog page? Is that their rule or yours (or someone else’s entirely?)

    • Fitnessista on February 11, 2010 at 8:39 pm

  46. Lily @ Lily's Health Pad on February 11, 2010 at 8:32 pm

I love chia seeds in my oatmeal. They’re great because they’re nutritious, and you have very little taste, so you can put them on anything! I put them on my speghetti the other night.

  47. Nicole on February 11, 2010 at 8:32 pm

Love em in muffins & to thicken up my oat bran! They give you lots of crunch without all the cals of nuts 🙂

  48. Katherine M. on February 11, 2010 at 8:32 pm

I put them in my oatmeal and my morning smoothy.

  49. Averie (LoveVeggiesAndYoga) on February 11, 2010 at 8:32 pm

fave use is as a thickener almost like flax “eggs” but instead, chia “eggs” incorporated into recipes!

I’ve so been wanting to try some!! I would start with chia seeds in my smoothies.
