I love chia seeds sprinkled on greek yogurt and tons of blueberries, they give it a little crunch and I stay full for hours. I also like to add them to my smoothies when I need a little “more”, it’s amazing how these little things bulk up a smoothie!

I love using chia seeds in my protein shakes! I’ll whip a shake up before work and keep it in the break room fridge. After a few hours the seeds help thicken the shake up more and makes it for a satisfying snack during my break.

  37. Lola Colleen on February 12, 2010 at 6:40 am

I would use them for the aforementioned oatmeal, shakes, yogurt messes, granola and baked goods. Very original, aren’t I? ๐Ÿ˜€
I also wonder what it would be like mixed with spices for sweet potato fries or some other similar savory food. Like the other ladies, I’m interested in chia seeds as an exercise aid, another source of protein and an energy-booster. Love your blog Gina, keep it up! xoxo
