OMGosh Olivia is getting SO BIG!! i had to do a double take at that last picture!!! so precious! looks like a fun fam day as always, enjoy your time with them while they are in town! !<3
I love this post! Yay for getting back into running, trying to do so myself after a long hiatus with a knee injury. Livi is adorable she has grown so much!! I love how your brother is pushing a stroller with one arm and flexing with the other…priceless!
Is that a Boston Celtics jersey I see?! I am a born and raised Bostonian and I still live in the same house I was brought home from the hospital to. I am a Boston sports fan through and through. Any other Bostonians out there?
Woohooo! A playlist! I admit, I am having trouble with this phrase ‘una mano lava la otra’.. a/one hand washes.. the other(?). It must be one of those phrases that *actually* means something like ‘looking out for each other’ or something like that.
The zoo looks amazing. We don’t really have such a selection of animals here in NZ, but there are two wildlife parks near me and it’s fun to visit. Last time Jasmine was here were went to one and had two memorable events. 1) staring for ages at a massive bison, totally wowed by how huge it was, then we went to the next enclosure and discovered we had been looking at the baby one and the mother was about four times the size and 2) when I explained that we could not see a Moa because they are extinct (i.e. no more of them because people hunted them all). She burst into tears and sat on the ground saying ‘Oh my GOD, that is SO SAD’. She’s a sensitive soul.
It’s part of a longer phrase that says “one hand washes the other but both wash the face”- kind of meaning that you cam do more as a team or when you work together rather than alone
That story makes me so sad!
Hope you’re having a great weekend.
Xoxo
I’m just finishing Monday. We are a day ahead. I know… I didn’t know what to say about the Moa either…. I said ‘humans are really stupid sometimes’ and she just cried harder and said ‘it’s not STUPID Aunty Sara, it’s just really SAD’. Wow. So true.
Haha that’s right! Well I hope you’re having a great week ๐
And yes, it’s truly devastating. It breaks my heart to think of the things liv won’t be able to see because we haven’t taken care of the earth or the animals who live here
What a fun day! When did Olivia get so big?!? I wish we still had a zoo… we had a small one near my home when I was a little girl. It only had monkeys and peacocks and a few others but, as a kid, it was AMAZING! ๐
I made it!!
I LOVE giraffes. I always feel awkward leaving a link to my blog because I think people will think I’m only commenting so they’ll leave me a comment. (I feel like we’ve established that’s not why I’m here, after all this reading!)
Since you’re in AZ too I thought I should share my experience at an awesome place, Out of Africa in Camp Verde. It’s AMAZING… giraffes come into your bus and you get to feed them, you get to pet so many animals… awesome, definitely worth the drive from Tucson if you make a weekend out of it and go check out Prescott or Jerome or somewhere nearby.

I love the workout playlists!!! And is that a garmin??? Does that mean you were running??? Glad to see you’re back to it!!! Livi’s shoes are the cutest thing ever!
I love how y’all roll deep anywhere you go ๐ also, I see Sophie poking out of Olivia’s stroller – I’m debating on getting one of those but I feel crazy doing so.
My aunt had one of those turtles as a pet! Something happened to it when it was little (forgot what) and she had it flown in. She had quite the setup for it in her yard. It grew up to be HUGE! Her daughter started getting a little too curious about it so she donated it to the local aquarium. Now, when I go there I’m like, “Hey, I know you!”

Yup, I actually live south of town but I brought my kids in for the whale watch yesterday. It was a beautiful day.
What a fun day for you guys – I bet she loved seeing all the animals!
This looks like it was such a fun day! I’m glad you enjoyed yourself with your family!
Getting that close to that lizard-thing would scare the jeebies out of me!! Looks like such a fun, laid-back day.
One time we went to the zoo and a friend of mine suggested elephant tipping.
I love baby Livi pictures! She looks so happy ๐ Good job on your run and you rock those red pants!

We should just let little girls run the world and it would all be ok. ๐
Gorgeous pictures! I’m sure Livi was mesmerized by all of the animals. So cute!
And that playlist is fabulous! Thank you. (:

Liv looks so big! She is going to be tall ๐ love the red jeans.

Awesome pictures! That’s so cool how close you were able to get to some of the animals
Did Miss Liv outgrow the orbit stroller already? She’s getting so big (her being adorable is a given)!
not quite, but we’ll need the toddler seat very soon! we took the pilot’s car and the bob is usually in there
These pics are so cute! Liv is getting so big I can’t believe it!
Looks like a really fun day out! I wonder if Livi was picking up crawling tips from her primate cousins. ๐
looks like a super fun day with the fam. livi looks absolutely adorable in the last pic of her. so cute!!
Love the BOB!
