yum – smores! can you tell me/us what you used to make the smores?! i am always craving them but i feel like graham crackers and marshmallows are too fattening/not clean/ect!
Those smores look so so good!!! We bought big giant bag of giant American marshmallows in the weekend and toasted them on the stove since we dont have a fire. They were so so tasty! Will have to get some biscuits to squish them between for next time we make them. mmmmmmm……..
Are you from NZ too? How come you know what a s’mores is? I’ve been wondering forever, seeing some funny smores flavoured stuff and never really understanding what it was, apart from, it contains marshmallows and ‘other stuff’.
Aw ha ha, I love it! We got really excited for s’mores when we traveled to Montana for a camping trip but there was a fire burn so we had Bic-roasted marshmallows. =]
do you also freeze the food in ziploc bags? (i thought it looked like this from the picture) I am a new mom too (“new-ish”, my little girl is 3mo old) and I’m starting to think ahead to baby food prep…
Oh THAT’S a s’mores? I am going to make this on Friday, after I finish this epic breastfeeding assignment (that is, writing about it, not doing it). I have seen protein bars labelled ‘smores’ in the supermarket and tried a few, but they were yukky. So, you’re saying, it’s a marshmallow, toasted, and between two biscuits? (er.. cookies??). And chocolate? bwahaha. OMG, this is going to be soo good.
Yay for smores! I finally had mine last night too (minus the graham cracker though since I’m not a fan). It was sooooo good and I felt like such a goober eating it over the stove with a big ‘ol smile on my face. ๐
Gina!! I’ve been reading your blog for a couple years now, and at 23 I primarily come to Fitnessista for great healthy eating ideas and workout tips. But I have to say–Livi is the gosh darn cutest little button of a child I have ever seen and I absolutely love all the pictures you put up of her. That smile is ridiculous. It’s been a pleasure watching her grow, at least through the eyes of the blog ๐ Please give her an e-squeeze from me.
S’mores! YES!! That’s my kind of night! ๐
I never thought to make smores over a gas range! Brilliant!

Hi! I’m a new mom (baby is 1 month 3 weeks old), I would like to know if you find baby bullet helpful in preparing baby’s food. Thanks.
