Happy anniversary! My husband and I are going to celebrate our 5 year in a couple weeks and we just booked a staycation last week for that same hotel! 🙂

The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort! I love it there. I used to have to go to a specialty doctor in Tucson when I lived in Phoenix and we’d always stay there when my mom and I would make the trip. I miss that waterfall 🙂

Where was that waterfall at? I was just in Tucson yesterday hitting a canyon off Sabino, it was pretty Uhmazing. Congrats on your anniversary!!

Have to say I wish I had a place with a pool like that!
It’s the one downside to not being officially married: no anniversary! We have to wait for an even year now.. like 20 years. So we can have a 20+ anniversary (20+1 year, 20+ 2 years). We have been together for 13 years now. Seven years seems a good amount of time to plan a wedding.
Your pictures are beautiful. Ahh, you definitely brought out the best of Arizona. This looks like the area where I live..Tucson? This summer has been so hot, I wish it would rain more often. Even though I’ve lived here for 7 years I’ve never been to Sabino Canyon. If you’re still in that area, you should definitely hike Pima Canyon. It takes about an hour to get out to the dam, but the scenery there is amazing. I go out there during the weekends to take pictures and just to getaway.
