Spring Fashion Finds

Sharing some of my favorite picks for spring. Swimsuits, dresses, shorts, sandals, and cute tops. Please share anything you’re loving in the comments section below!

Spring is in the aiiirrrrrrr. Anyone else feeling excited and hopeful this spring? Something about this year is making me feel a tiny bit excited after everything that’s been going on. I’ve had the itch to spring clean (tackled the girls’ closets and the pantry already; our closet is next!), our little garden is thriving, and I’m soaking up this sweet spot of Tucson weather until it transforms into a scorching oven for the next few months.

Last spring, I spent pretty much the entire season in sweatpants and a hoodie, wondering what the heck was going to happen with the world. Fashion was the last thing on my mind, and I smirked a bit each day to walk past the row of cute dresses in the closet to grab my beloved Beautycounter hoodie to rewear yet again. This year, I’m feeling inspired to break out of the sweatpants and hoodie and embrace my favorite season.

I LOVE dresses, shorts, and sandals and thought I’d share some of the goods in today’s post. The items below are a mix of pieces that I own or are on my current wish list. If you have any fashion finds you’re loving lately, please shout them out in the comments section! Also, please help me with a conundrum: where do you find cute shorts? All of the super high-waisted mom shorts are v. unflattering on me, so I’m looking for something mid-rise with good quality but aren’t more than $150.

Spring Fashion Finds

Dresses and rompers

Love the color of this dress <— this one’s on the way; I’ll report back

This simple tie-waist dress

Floral maxi

I have this dress and wear it all the time

Eyelet tiered swing dress

This midi shirtdress!

This classic white dress

A black romper for everyday (can dress up or down)

This dress makes me want to go on a beach vacay

Shorts and skirts

Destroyed and cuffed jean shorts. I might give these a try because they have great reviews and a good price point.

White jean shorts <— recently picked these up from Target and they don’t let you use the fitting rooms. I still don’t know how I feel about them. (The reviews said to size up but my normal size fit fine. I just don’t know about the super high waist situation.)

LOVE these printed shorts. SO cute with a chambray top.

I’m a fan of anything Rails and this floral skirt is the perfect spring throw-on for everyday.

Tops and tees

Love this smocked lace tank. It would be cute with jean shorts, a bun, hoops, and sandals

A vintage-looking button-up linen top.

Puff-sleeve square neck top.

The best v-neck tee (I have a few different colors; size up if you want a baggier fit)

Classic white button-down tank

Ruffle sleeve crew neck tee

Sandals

 Studded wrap sandals.

Leopard slides.

The wave sandals <— ordered these and can’t wait to wear the heck out of them

Perfect for the pool.

Swimsuits and cover-ups

Love the print and tiny belt on the one-piece.

Weird tan lines but worth it.

Aerie has become one of my favorite spots to get swimsuits. The quality is excellent for the price and I love that you can see how different suits will look on various body types. I got one very similar to this one last year and was very surprised by the thick fabric and good quality.

This is my #1 coverup (I wore it constantly last summer) and it’s only $20.

Are you feeling excited for spring?! Where do you do most of your shopping these days?

xo

J-Crew shorts are my favorite. The chino shorts are mid-rise but not so short that I feel like my cheeks are on display. I like to get mine from thread-up.

Check out Abercrombie for shorts. I bought a pair of mid-rise boyfriend shorts in my regular size and they’re great and relaxed fitting. On the other hand, I have an ultra high rise pair that I’m returning because to balance out the rise, I’m half an inch away from exposing a butt cheek. So, shop accordingly.

Amazon brand Daily Ritual has great, stretchy denim shorts at a great length too! Get typical size.

i didn’t think about abercrombie! ok i need to check it out. and yes, the butt cheek exposure is a concern for me haha
i’ll check out daily ritual, too – thank you!

Ha, I rolled through Target the other day and picked up those shorts too. I actually like them more than my Paige white pair. Go figure. ‍♀️ The high waist with the button fly looks super cute with a Lululemon Love V tee half tucked.
