What I wore: 7/17
Dress: J Crew
Sandals: Banana Republic
Cuff bracelet + necklace: Express
Why I like it: this dress was on super sale at J Crew –after the extra 30% off, it was like $20- and I love the bubble hem that isn’t too obnoxious. Sometimes things can get a little too bubbly and I’m not a fan, but this one was perfect. I also like how I’ll be able to throw a long cardigan over it and wear with booties to take it into fall. Since summer is going to be quickly ending, I’m focusing on transition pieces that are more classic and easily adaptable to slightly cooler weather.
SERIOUSLY!?!? What are you having?! I have been waiting patiently allllll day!!!!
announcement post goes up in the am!
I love that cuff bracelet, Gina…and I love how you are so fashion savvy 🙂 I never think of things like purchasing transition pieces. I’m just like: “Oooh! T-shirt” or “Ooooh! Jeans!” Yes please, lol! 😛 I learn a lot from you blog, about fitness, food AND, now, fashion! Thank you! xyx
Cute dress and way to rock the pregnancy GLOW! 🙂
i love a good bubble hem! lookin fab, as usual. 🙂
Very cute dress…and it has some extra fabric to grow into! 🙂
So darn cute! I love that mocha color on you! : )
‘since summer is going to be ending quickly’ – noooooooooooo!!!!!! I feel like summer has barely started! :'(
Summer has barely started! Officially, we have another two months, so don’t rush it. Don’t forget, some of us live in climates with brutal winters, lol. Don’t make summer any shorter than it already is.
LOVE that dress! i was just in jcrew shopping their killer sale but walked out with nothing. if i would have seen this dress i would have definitely snatched it up 🙂
Love this dress and those yellow nails! I was wondering if you would consider posting some cute workout outfits? I mean, I don’t go to the gym for a fashion show, but I always like to look nice even if I’m getting sweaty! I just don’t want to be *that* girl in the gym, ya know?
sure, i’ll definitely post some of my faves
I have that dress! 🙂 So true about it being a great transition piece!
P.S. You can’t even tell your pregnant in that picture– I thought it was a picture of you in the dress pre-pregnancy, ha 🙂
wow- thank you!
I have the same dress…I want to say I got it for $18! 🙂 You’re right, its a great dress. You look fab in it. 🙂
Doesn’t go too well with your body type, imo. It makes your shoulders look really broad and your hips non-existent. It’s not that flattering on the twins, either. Sorry to go against the flow of compliments. I typically really like your fashion sense, just.. this one didn’t do it for me.
i know what you mean. it’s definitely been a challenge for me to find clothes that look flattering right now.
I hear ya. 😀 It gets a lot easier when the tummy gets bigger, strange as that may be. Silly awkward in-between phase.
i LOVE those shoes.
they look great with your skin tone & nail color.
^okay kinda creepy..but you get the point 🙂
