9/22: Some weekend pics
-Dessert night at the hot bar
-Gym flooring
-The Halloween costume, which is getting well-loved before then 😉
-Grain-free nut-free granola bars:
-Flamenco Festival at Casa Vicente aka proof that food can really still taste good after our trip to Italy.
We took our tiny flamenco dancer, who absolutely loved the show. She was mesmerized by the incredible music and dancing.
(The funny face she made when we said, “Smile!”)
She ate all of her food -not surprising, because it was deeeeelicioso- clapped and yelled “Ole!” along with us.
Everything about it made my soul so happy.
The sangria was lovely, too 🙂
-Date night, chillin’ at Armitage.
Looks like an amazing weekend and I love the halloween outfit, she looks so cute in it! Bet she’ll get a lot of candy with it 🙂 I’d love to make the granola bars. Do you have the recipe somewhere?
yes, i’ll post all the deets tomorrow!
Love your hair! That’s such a great length for you–it really frames your face well.
thank you!
Man those sandals really rock!! They are doing well for you. I remember you showing them a couple months back and I LOVED them, went to Tarjay, tried them on and almost fell on my face when the toe flapped down and curled under, lol! I have these silly narrow feet and they were too wide for me (wide=normal). Sad.
Cheap, durable and super cute….I cry.
My soul got all filled up this weekend with the (finally!!) fall weather in L.A. and working on our new/old house. Makes me so happy 🙂
awww man! they are seriously one of my favorite pairs. hopefully tarjay will get on the narrow sandal train for next year
xoxo
Love your dress and Livi’s too. What are you going to be for Halloween? I’m thinking of ideas now!
i have NO idea. i could wear fairy wings with a shirt and jeans, but that means the pilot would have to be a man fairy. i’m not sure how he’d agree to that
Looks like a great weekend — love Liv’s “smile” face 🙂
Happy Monday!

Love the weekend pics 🙂 I love Mexican food and the dancing looks marvelous! Thank you for sharing lots of love C
Those desserts look awesome! I’ll have to scout some sweets out the next time I go to WF 🙂
Livi’s face is priceless! Have a great week, Gina!
Aw what a beautiful family night!
Can you comment on your gym flooring? We are exploring options for our home gym right now. What did you use? Was it easy to instal? Do you like it? Thanks!
we got it from amazon to put in one car area of the garage. i’m going to film my workout videos in there so we wanted some gym flooring to make it look legit. it looks and feels great, and all you have to do it roll it out. super easy!
I love that Olivia already has her Halloween outfit picked out. Too cute.
Looks like a fun weekend!
we saw it at home goods and in the store she was saying, “wear it? wear it?” haha
Sounds like a great weekend! I miss relaxing at Armitage!
Oh sangria, I love that stuff!! What a wonderful weekend! Loved all of your pics from Italy I am headed there next year and it’s made me that much more excited!
ahhhh! you will love it.
LOVE that photo of Livi!!!!!
Gina from Mass
That cannoli looks tasty.
Looks like a lot of fun! I’m all for sangria and date nights!
I bet “Tiny Dancer” could be Olivia’s song 🙂
it totally could!!
Love your hair! I am cutting mine tomorrow somewhat similar to that! I am scared because I haven’t cut my hair in about 3 years! haha Looks like you had an AMAZING weekend! 🙂
don’t be scared! i chickened out for so long, but am so glad i finally did it
I love that dress that you’re wearing!
thank you!! 🙂
Looks like a great weekend!
Random question for you: I always see you with your super cute cross body purses… So do you not carry a diaper bag for Liv? Does your husband carry it or do you leave it in the car? I would love to start using a purse, but I don’t really want to lug around a purse AND a diaper bag. Just curious what you do!
we put the necessary stuff in a small lululemon bag that we tote around- we call it the “hit and run” bag. it’s not very fancy, but much easier than carrying a diaper bag. i have a giant diaper bag, but it ended up being filled with things we didn’t really need (and crumbs). so each day, i’ll put some snacks, water, diapers, wipes, sunscreen and small toys in the lulu bag. in the car, we have an extra outfit, a hat and shoes if we need it
xoxo
Love that idea. Thanks so much! 🙂
I’ve often wondered this myself! 🙂
Flamenco! How fun! I would love to see something like that. Liv is adorable as per usual! 🙂
I’m a belly dancer and was fortunate enough to do a tour in Europe with Flamanco dancers and singers… “el duende” the spirit of spanish gypsies mingled with “al tarab” the spirt of the egytian gypsies.. either way, your soul really does become “happy” because you get int touch with a really authentic part of your being.. wow, hope that makes sense to you!! 🙂
Looks like fun! Gina, I loved your sandals the first time you posted about them, but when I went to Target to pick some up, I realized they were not going to be supportive enough for me (I have flat feet). I was bummed out but started looking around for similar ones and found these: http://www.clarksusa.com/eng/product/indira_rue/26064386
I got the silver and black, which isn’t pictured, but the gold and tan ones look a lot like yours. They are Clarks, so they are super comfortable and supportive … they are my new favorite pair of sandals, and they are on sale! 🙂 I think I got mine from Shoes.com.
ohhh i love those! my target ones will probably only live until the end of the season, so maybe i’ll get a pair of the clarks on sale to wear next summer?
i dont think I had seen a good picture of your hair since it was cut. It looks adorable on you! You look younger. Thats always a plus, right?!
lol that face is just perfect!
haha right?? best ever 🙂
Oh my goodness, that face – so adorbs! Looks like you had a great weekend 🙂
where is that dress from? it’s darling!
I don’t know why I can’t get into macaroons 🙁
that photo of olivia is the cutest thing ever!!!
I just discovered your site and now I can’t take my eyes off of it!!! I really love your posts! Btw, that granola bars are on my to-do-list for this weekend! Sending you hugs and good wishes.
That is the funniest pic of your daughter!!
she cracks me up!
