Annual survey + favorite things giveaway!
I’ve been doing this type of giveaway for years now as a way to share gratitude with some lucky reader friends. You make this little corner of the internet the amazing space it’s become. It’s still mindblowing to think that I started this blog 14 years ago, as a newlywed who was interested in fitness and health. And was craving some type of connection with those who enjoy similar things. Who would have even known I’d get to *meet* all of you, and be able to live my dream every day???
Being able to work from home and be here for the kids is everything to me – especially with a husband who travels frequently and has an unpredictable schedule – and I get to virtually hang out with ya’ll, chatting about fitness-y and fun topics. I hope you know how grateful I am every.single.day that you help make that happen.

This year has been stressful regarding work and this holiday I am looking forward to the slow days at work and the minimal holiday we are planning that will allow me to relax.

Since I thought of this after the survey I’m going to leave here the comment from Instagram Just want to say how much I appreciate that you talk about how health and wellness priorities and focus have changed over the years. Its easy to fall back into thinking I should be doing what I did to feel good in my twenties and a reminder that we all evolve in terms of what works for us reminds me not to get stuck thinking of old times!

I am excited for my kids to be home with me. I am excited abut baking treats and watching holiday movies with my kids. I am a substitute teacher – so my time with my kids doing fun stuff and just enjoying one another is what I live for! I want snow so we can go skiing and build snow forts. I love winter and am hoping for a relaxing but fun winter break with my family.
