I’m so glad you got to celebrate the pilots birthday together and that it was so much fun! Poor little monkey pinata, he looks so sad with his side fallen off! ;p Reply Tara @ Sweat like a Pig on October 24, 2011 at 12:54 am WOW everything looks delicious! It all looks delicious and I’m guessing fun was had by all (except maybe the poor monkey). Reply Jen @ luckandfunny on October 24, 2011 at 1:14 am There is nothing funnier than a grown man attacking a pinata. Looks like you had a blast! Reply Fitnessista on October 24, 2011 at 1:37 am Seriously- I was dying laughing Reply Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga on October 24, 2011 at 1:17 am Remember when you thought that you’d never consume 50g’s of sugar in a sitting for the diabetes/glucose test you took the other week? Well, I would love to try all these desserts and consume well over 50g’s in a sitting. lol Girl you outdid yourself! Everything looks…amazing!!! Reply Ali on October 24, 2011 at 1:20 am I love your picture posts! Happy b-day Pilot!! All the food looks amazing girl. Reply Sara on October 24, 2011 at 3:49 am Ya know, I always feel sorry for the Pinata too. Why do they always have to be shaped like animals? (I suppose there is a cultural explanation for this..). Your cakes look…. to die for. I want one, right now. Reply Fitnessista on October 24, 2011 at 10:42 am it just makes me sad after it’s been beat up. they had a ghost one, too, but it looked a little inappropriate… haha Reply Amanda on October 24, 2011 at 4:09 am Uhhhhhhhhhh…. can you cook my birthday dinner too???? Reply Fitnessista on October 24, 2011 at 10:42 am sure! 🙂 Reply Karina Chattlani on October 24, 2011 at 4:18 am Hi Gina! Been reading your blog for ages but my first time commenting. And that cake looks divine. 🙂 Reply Sarah on October 24, 2011 at 7:50 am Great pics! Saw the baked potatoes and wanted to share a tip. Did you know you can make them in the crockpot? I made them last week and they were so good and easy and I didn’t have to stand near the oven for and hour. You just poke holes in them and wrap them in foil and put them in for 8 hours on low. I’m going to try with sweet potatoes today too! Reply Fitnessista on October 24, 2011 at 10:41 am AMAZING. i can’t wait to try it! we just put them on the grill last night for about an hour, but that sounds much easier Reply Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin on October 24, 2011 at 7:51 am Oh my gosh, that cake! The stuffed chicken! The quinoa! It all looks so good! Reply Natasha on October 24, 2011 at 8:10 am I hope you tell us the recipe for that cake, it looks fantastic! Reply Brianna on October 24, 2011 at 8:51 am Hi Gina! I’ve been reading for several months, but haven’t commented until now… I just tried your Schweaty September workout this morning (I know, I’m a little late to the party–printed it a while ago, but finally got to it today), and I just wanted to tell you it was *awesome.* I work out and lift 5-6 times/week, but your workout kicked my butt! I loved how the cardio was interspersed with the lifting, and the whole thing was very clear and easy to follow. Thank you! Also, I think you posted a new October workout, but I can’t find it on the Fitness page. Can you post the link? Reply Fitnessista on October 24, 2011 at 10:39 am i’m so glad you enjoyed it!! i’ll be updating my fitness page today to include all of the schweaty workouts and ab burners i’ve been posting here’s the october one: http://fitnessista.com/2011/10/paleo-pancakes-and-schweaty-october-workout/ Reply Lena @Fit on the Rocks on October 24, 2011 at 9:34 am Everything looks FANTASTIC! I have really taken to trying lots of your recipes. I was wondering if you can steer me in the direction of your “roon” recipe. As always, beautiful pics 🙂 Reply Sonia (the Mexigarian) on October 24, 2011 at 2:41 pm Ok, those cupcakes, I have got to make. Hubby will LOVE them. And the chicken looks yummy too, which is strange since I haven’t had meat in quite a while. :\ Pinata’s make parties more fun. They’re not just for kids. 😀 I wanted one for our wedding but Hubby said he didn’t want to risk the bat or stick flying through the a window of our reception hall. lol.
