did u guys get Bella a new little friend?!? if so, she is just precious. looks like a king charles spaniel to me! our king charles is 4.5 years old. she is the sweetest, most lovable puppy ever! i’m so partial to this dog breed now that i don’t know if i’ll ever own anything else!

We have two King Charles, Charlie and Salsa. Once you go King Charles, you can’t go back! They are the sweetest, most loving breed. Congrats!!

king charles spaniels are WAY prone to heart problems, fyi. get her an echocardiogram if she so much as looks at you funny… says the vet student.
Thank you for the heads up. I’ve done done research on mvd, and while she has a clean bill of health, we’re taking her to our vet this week to get checked out.
I am a vet – and while they are prone to cardiac problems – I would adopt one in a HEARBEAT! Amazingly sweet and gentle dogs. So exciting for you!!! <3

I’m not sure what you had to hold (maybe chicken??) in order to get those two pups to behave for a photo, but they are absolutely darling. I can only imagine how much fun Liv will have with them!

I am in LOVE with Caroline! We have a Brittany Spaniel who is on the small side and so we always think King Charles pups look like little itty, bitty Brittany pups! So glad she and Bella are getting along so well already 🙂 Can’t WAIT to see more of her on the blog!

From experience, I’d say that new puppies are as much work as a new human. Maybe even more so, because they are uber mobile and can pee in random places… I’m sure you know this from Bella’s youth. I had a spaniel, they are the best dogs – so happy, great with kids and they seem to LOVE water. Crazy little things, actually. So much fun.

You will fall in love with Cavaliers, I grew up with 3 of them and my family has had 4 more since then. They just rescued a pair…you will never find a sweeter breed!!! So happy for your new addition 🙂
