yes, we read it all the time- she loves when the caterpillar becomes a butterfly 🙂

we drove- the first hour was a little rough, but after that, she was fantastic
Wow. I could never drive to san diego with my parents and brother let alone take a baby! I do live in boston though so driving all the way across the country would be rough on anyone! Glad you made it. How long will you be there? I am going to San Francisco at the end of the month and I cant wait. That is my family vacation this year.

yep- la jolla! nope, lululemon but i wear them for zumba 🙂

Are you guys in La Jolla?? If so, you have to go to The Coffee Cup for breakfast! Amazing!!!We just got back from San Diego on Tuesday and coming back to the Tucson heat was hard! Hope you guys have great weather there! Enjoy! 🙂
La Jolla food is amazing, next time you visit check out Prepkitchen, Whisknladle, and Harry’s Coffee shop, as well as the farmer’s market for breakfast on Sundays! Good coffee and free samples 🙂

My husband and I got married in La Jolla! The Cottage is so good but definitely check out the Museum Cafe if you have time!! 🙂

La Jolla! My favorite place in the world, Beach Grass Cafe in Solana Beach also has amazing breakfast! You can’t go wrong walking Liv up and down the coast in a stroller-such a fantastic area.
we’ve done that twice already- she was so happy 🙂

i put double water to quinoa and put it on the brown rice setting. the rice cooker is from costco and was like $40?

Looks like so much fun! I love the La Jolla area–my little brother is stationed at Miramar, so when I visit, I always make him go. Kayaking by the caves is my favorite! Enjoy the vacation!

Love your blog Gina! I’m a new follower and have been reading it for about 2 weeks now. Did two Tabata weeks and just have really enjoyed reading. I decided this week to do your shape-up… Sad I missed the beginning of it, but this weeks was a killer good workout this morning… Followed it by step 🙂 the lunch of the chickpea slaw! Enjoy your vacay, and thanks for all your amazing advice. We are TTC as well, going on about 8 months and reading those posts are amazing how close my experience is going to how yours did. Going to a naturopath now, with acupuncture and the whole shebang. Bought the two books you recommended to read, so hopefully we will have luck too!

Yay for a little San Diego vacay! Don’t you just love La Jolla?? I was born there but my parents moved when I was little sadly! And the Cottage is one of my favorite SD restaurants… their granola is out of this world and is very dangerous when you buy a bag of it 😉 And that cupcake place is fab! Can’t wait to hear more about your trip and if you ended up staying at my fave hotel… La Valencia!
