Hi friends! As we put the cherry on top of the 2020 dumpster fire and say ADIOS to this year, I wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
I don’t take this blog or the work I’m able to do for granted, ever. Every single day I’m excited to connect with all of you in this space which first began when the Pilot told me to “stop shopping online so much and find a hobby that doesn’t cost anything.” <— lol. The blog has grown and changed so much over the years, and whether you’re an OG blog reader (thank you!!!) or a new friend (hi! welcome!!), I hope you know how much I appreciate you hanging out with me over here.

My favorite 2020 memory is seeing my twin toddlers grow so much this year. They don’t understand what’s going on, so when I find myself getting sad or frustrated about this year, it’s been great to see the world through their eyes.

The highlight of 2020 was our little family vacation. We had a cabin rented on the lake, no one else around. We boated and fished until until our hearts were content!
Trying to make lemonade out of the lemon 2020 turned out to be!! My oldest daughter attends Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and came home early spring semester when the virus hit. It was nice to be able to spend extra time with her!! Survey done, happiest of holidays!!
My favorite memory from 2020 was being at my best friend’s courthouse wedding (back in February, before everything in the world changed). It was so simple & sweet (and a bit chilly!) But such a happy memory

I got the first job I applied and interviewed for after being off work with my new daughter for almost a year and half! Still there and it’s hard work, but a good job that provides for me and my girl during this difficult time. So thankful for that.
Happy 2020 Memory: More time spent with my husband in this beautiful home we’ve created. I am so looking forward to the day we can all resume activities safely, but I appreciate the slower pace of life our household has had the privilege to adopt throughout this year.
Favorite memories this year were long, unrushed walks with my husbands and two sweet pups.

We’ve had some lovely moments at home in the midst of all the chaos. But it’s crazy to think that the highlight of our 2020 was a trip to Disneyworld in January. Our kids were perfect ages and I’m so grateful we were able to get in the trip before the world imploded.
